  1. And Mighty371 please!!!!!!
  2. I'll be in chat but might mirc but might miss first couple of heats due to SS F2 World Semi
  3. Ever thought a pen tool and a brush stroke might be a little more efficient and make proper curves?
  4. Why merge anything at all? Just paint everything, paintscheme, signs, decals etc on seperate layers under your shading "overlay" layer which leaves everything editable and will give you shading on everything. Then simply adjust the "levels" of the overlay layer to suit or do as I do and dublicate one as a "screen" layer and use the original as a "multiply" layer adjusting levels to suit as before. On the sudject of shading: Something I have noticed recently while I've been looking through templates is that most don't have the highlights across the bonnet/roof/boot where the panels are in the horizontal plane to match the shade at the top of the vertical wing/pillar panels where they roll over, probably due to the fact they've been made from manipulated photographs rather than shaded by hand. So personally I'll probably add shading to my skins by hand using the template shading as reference only. That way I'll be able to have very straight looking panels or particularly "wavey" ones as I see fit and the horizontal panels will be highlighted correctly to meet the top edges of the wings etc.
  5. Just to add a bit more... The body style was also known as the Biscayne/Belair/Caprice in the late 60's model years depending on the trim level, but the Impala outsold all the others and I'm pretty sure it was only the Impala and Caprice that were available as a pillarless 4 door, the other lesser models only being available in pillared versions. CP
  6. Thats a 1968 Impala four door pillarless then!
  7. Looks very much like a 1966 or 1967 (Supernatural) Impala fourdoor to me. General proportions would make me think the '67 but the hood/grill were more peaked on that rather than the more flat-fronted 66. The 67 also had a slightly different curve in the rear door with a compound curve up into the window line above the coke-bottle curve in the waistline which the 66 model didn't have. Interesting that its a fourdoor too though, as most of these were built for the police with all the police options: HiPo motor options, Appleton spotlamps etc etc.
  8. Its obviously been sorted now anyway... Oh well I tried
  9. Tried deleting your cache (temporary internet files) and then having another go in a fresh browser?
  10. If you just copy the link and change the "anti" folder in the link to "clock" and paste into your address bar.
  11. And here's the Burns Tavern one as close as I could get without hand painting all the lettering from scratch [attachmentid=13959] And here's the .psd, [attachmentid=13960] burns.zip
  12. Here's the Startrax one for you.. [attachmentid=13958] Layered, higher res .psd zipped up and attached [attachmentid=13957] startrax.zip
  13. Spent a few hours working on an F2. Probably a bit different to the usual style I guess, but more in keeping with my racing roots. [attachmentid=13918] Hoping someone might be kind enough to offer to do me a couple of nice renders of it maybe???
  14. Hopefully that answers the question I was about to post too... I've had exactly the same problem, the ui.res missing in everything except Rods and F1's, so I've had real trouble with missing screens and buttons when trying to race online. . So if I'm correct what you're saying is that I should uninstall all mods apart from the working ones and then copy either one of the ui.res files from Rods/F1's to the Run folder then reinstall the mods that I'm missing the UI from??? So glad that I kept all the install files on my local drive now, at least there's no redownloading to do.
  15. This any help? Layered psd is available if you want to tweak the colours, just let me know and I get to lose my posting virginity at the same time...
