i totally agree with swindy with this one many of the old cars are not there anymore and soon you wont find a mk2 granada/escort etc for love or money imo FWD is the way forward and anothere FWD addition to the game will be useful just my opinion the thing is cars in game dont die out they just seem older as the years will go by.... also fwd is good but do you really wanna get overtaken all the time by something rwd or put away by it cos you cant power round or away.

have to agree with you there spike on the damage front. most of the blueys ive seen when been after a big hit have bent good nd proper. lets hope it happens with this, epic model so far rodder might make the game look a lot more realistic. thanks

right... if he is willing to oblige to building you a pc. look at some of the parts on the intell viper on the right hand side of the yoyotech home page, click on that and have a look. the graphics card (geforce xfx 8800gts 320mb) will play at maximum settings i have heard on rfactor. the power supply unit (psu) is also a very good one and for the price is a bargain. hard drive i would go for is the samsung hd501j which for the price compared to the standard one is an apbsoloute bargain and its also 16mb so it will be faster. the processor is apbsolutely fine (standard one as custom pc have recommended it and use a similar spec machine for some tests) ram i think you should get 2gb of patriot 4-4-4-12 (thats the latency for u tech guys 800mhz aswell) thats about all i can say really. hope you get your moneys worth. www.yoyotech.co.uk if u havent read it in my original post

yoyotech do a very good spec machine which i will be ordering with a couple of tweaks to it for around 600 pound excluding screen... or you could get them to build you a machine for the price given. just register on their forum and create a topic of it, im sure they will help you. www.yoyotech.co.uk

Well that would have been the case if the ps3 wasn't so damn hard to develop for, since it is GTAIV is being held back a year late. While I'm on the subject of the ps3's development issues, be careful when buying multi-platform games as most of them suffer from bad frame rates being quick crappy ports of the 360 versions. Also allot of games are much cheaper on the 360 right now than the ps3 but mainly those are games that have been on the 360 for some time but have just been released on the ps3. At the end of the day the 360 dominates online play and thats all I really care about. It also has the good few offline games like Mass Effect that I'm really looking forward too. I see the ps3 as a powerhouse console but has all this rubbish about it and has not been able to live up to it's expectations. None of the games look any better than the 360 (most run worse as I said above) and that is what bothers me. It seems the ps3 is taking the same path as the ps2 and trying to pass itself off with flashy game covers but it won't work this time if they don't make tonnes of games. I loved Sony back in the Playstation 1 days but I guess they just pissed me off too much after all the ignorant mass marketing of the ps2 so I got an Xbox; got Xbox Live and haven't looked back. Still, I would be crazy enough just to buy a ps3 for MGS4 if it stays ps3 exclusive. will be ps3 exclusive 8/10 because the fact they might even need 2 blu-ray discs for the game cos of so much detail involved. that equates to around 8 xbox 360 discs and if its one blu-ray ure looking at 2 or more

ps3 mate and it is well worth it.... dont go for the rubbish xbox as when they release the console that plays hd-dvd games instead of normal dvd you will have to buy one of those as they will stop making them games... ps3 is far superior imo not just because i have one.... xbox imo must really be scared of the ps3 prospects as they have (in memory) 4 or 5 different versions of them. (halo edition and elite) ps3 is cheapest blu ray player available, no competition ea skate is a fab game along with call of duty 4 and rainbow six vegas.... if you look at all the add-ons you get for the ps3 when xbox are selling them seperate theres a big difference. btw if you get one, or anyone who has one, add me to friends list.... i do not race rfactor but have been keeping a close eye on it since the news of the mod being made came into place.... i like that idea scrapman but maybe get say 2 or 3 setups from each track and compile it into one setup folder which can overwrite the default one u are given??? (just an idea, but dont know how easy it would be) another thing is maybe a middle setup that is posted for every track rather like the banger style one that i think nickm made.. with it being like half done and maybe for each individual track a notepad document explaining what needs doing to what (what makes the car go better and why) would also be a great help to novices.... im sorry but i can not help you with this but by the sounds of it my parents are going to get my computer this christmas as they are asking be about it more gradually but when the time comes of me helping i will do my best for all levels in skill (will most likely need help myself at first but will give it my best shot)... watched the whole game and thought it was a great match... couple of wrong decisions from ref and etc. as while in the first half when the maul collapsed an english bloke was having a load of punches hittin him in the face but it went un noticed.... also jason robinsons skill of "keeping the ball in" which he did was over ruled by the linesman or wotever they r called.... fantastic game by england though well deserved!!! LETS KEEP HOLD OFF THIS CROWN!!!
