  8. Well Done to all of tonights winners and thank you to all drivers who have taken part in the F1s this season. Hopefully you have all enjoyed the season. A massive thanks to Stumpy for his assistance from the F1 Stewards box this season again. A lastly thank you to Dan on the job he has done in his Head Admin role over the UKDirt F1s since 2012(ish) and his other contributions to various admin teams over his time on the admin team(s). As has been mentioned, myself and Fasttrack will be taking over the running of F1s from 2019, further details of the 2019 season will be posted in due course over the off-season.

  11. Is this a generalization or just something more specific as I cant say I remember seeing any oppo or waiting on people in F1s or F2s that had been seen and gone un-punished? This is exactly what I was telling you in my PM leek. Hopefully it makes more sense now Its not though really is it, when you mentioned was I assume F1s and F2s but I believe what Dane is commenting on is Saloons, Ill wait to see Danes reply though to confirm that. With regards to discipline Admin always act upon complaints sent in, I can 100% assure everyone if a complaint is sent the replays do get reviewed, just because it might seen someone didn't get a ban or disciplinary points doesn't mean the incident(s) weren't reviewed.

  13. Did you ever race the 1st version of the F2s? The first versions were waaaaaay more sideways than the current incarnation. If anything id say this version is easy enough to drive them sideways or keep them very tidy much like Dan and Wardieee do, personally I will slide the car in with the brake but if you've watched Dan and Wardieee closely you'll see in the main part they brake in a straight line into the corner and rotate the car early/mid corner to exit the corner. 'Close the gap' is never really going to happen in reality, we ran Ministox with very little to o setup adjustment and still had 0.2/0.3 difference in pace between the front and the back. 1) Night time races are a consideration and yes machine specs have improved alot since the early rFactor release, just as a side note though, some of the drivers will already know this, those who run a nVidia 980ti gfx card have to change their settings as the game freezes when you use night races. So its not all straight down to machine specs in some cases. A consideration worth discussing though for sure. 2) Fair comment, would bring them into line with the F1s. 3) Finals in the main are gridded, I assume your talking heats etc, if so surely by now we should all be able to regulate ourselves to not line up in the same position all the time? 4) Fixed setups are an interesting thought, although could leads to some arguments as to what the fixed setup should actually be etc. I would agree with regards to the F2s, that the amount of upgrades and setup changes that are available are a big excessive currently. 5) Sorry but this wont be happening, we have always said and always will continue allowing anyone to run with whatever control method they wish to do so with to try and not alienate possible members. 6) As above really. Thanks for all the comments thus far, the more the merrier.

And we are asking both current members and non members to help us to improve UKDirt. There are a few ways for you to send us suggestions, simply by posting below, contacting us via Facebook or using the suggestions section within our Discord channel. Please note this is open to both members and non member for suggestions. Firstly, we would like to hear your thoughts and feedback on the league this year. Secondly, and just as importantly, we would like to hear your suggestions for next year. All feedback and suggestions will be reviewed after the season has ended. Please post below.   16. Tonight's meeting will be held at Bristol. We currently have 5 drivers booked and will be running ALL IN! Meeting Information 4 Heats Final Allcomers Chat Please meet in Discord in the UKDirt Online Racing Server > race-meeting-chat. Points Heats: 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 Final: 20,18,16,14,12,10,8,6,4,2 Allcomers: 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 Start Procedure The starting procedure used for all races is as follows unless otherwise stated: - When the lights go green (or the final buzzer has gone and countdown timer completed) drivers will make there way at a speed of less then 20mph to their starting position, as listed below and line up 2-a-breast. - You must not pass drivers of your own grade. - You must line up correctly without making contact with other cars, incidents will be dealt with the same way as if it were part of the race. - Previous race winners during the meeting must start at the back of the grade. Once drivers are in position the steward will ask if anyone is not ready. If nobody replies, Roll at 20 is called and the leader of the whites will roll at a steady 20mph for the rolling lap. - Drivers at the front of each grade are to drive at approximately 20mph but ensure they keep their 4 to 6 cars distance to the grade in front. Anytime after the leading white reaches the apex of turns 3 & 4 the steward will call GO GO GO and the race will be on. - If for any reason the grid does not form properly after rolling, then a restart may be called. - If there are persistent offenders that stop races being started they will be sent to the back of the grid or excluded. - Starting positions approximately: - always follow instructions from meeting steward Whites: At the start / finish line Yellows: Exit of Turn 4 Blues: Exit of Turn 3 Red: Entry to Turn 3 - Anyone starting in the wrong place will be removed from the result, unless they have been specifically granted permission. On Track Behavior - Drivers must drive in the correct direction (clockwise) at all times. - No use of the infield at any time, using the infield during a race will be classed as cutting. - Excessive lap down attacks will be punished accordingly. - Drivers found guilty of consistently lap down attacks will be punished accordingly. - No talking once the race has started, and until all drivers have crossed the finishing line. - If your car is damaged you may leave it on track but off the racing line. - Do not leave the server during a race as this will cause warp. However if your car is sat on the top of the fence please press escape. - Care is to be taken when rejoining the racing line following a spin and persistent carelessness in this respect will be punished. - Individual drivers with a bad connection may be banned from the rest of the meeting if it causes a problem for other drivers. - Wall riding is NOT permitted. If you are hit into the wall, you must back off the throttle and gain full control. You must not use the wall to steer the car around the turn, nor use it to gain a race advantage. Anyone found to do so may be docked places, excluded from the results, or have their meeting points removed. - Jump-starts will be penalised by docking, 2 places or 2 places per car they jump. Grades - Drivers are graded at intervals throughout the season, please make sure you know what grade you are. Novice drivers to rFactor have been graded as white, where a driver races in another UKDirt rFactor mod they start from one grade below there highest grade i.e. Mike is red in F1s so drops to blue grade. If anyone believes they have been graded incorrectly please just say and we'll sort it out. Skin Packs - Please ensure you have the latest Skin Packs that can be found on the UKDirt Website. Eligibility You must have competed in at least 1 UKDirt Saloon Stockcar meeting prior to a championship meeting in order to be eligible for the championship race.

  18. Thanks to Dan and Stumpy on another smoothly run meeting. Well Done to Dan on defending his title making it 4 in total just one behind the most World Titles in F1s here. Also Well Done to Frans on a great showing in the meeting itself with 3 heats and a Final win.
