Starting from row 2 outside I thought that I was in for an early retirement, and already had a bet with myself which post I was going to be parked on, turn 1 post 8, but fortunatley for me that wasnt the case.... The race got underway and I found myself away with the pack.... Got stuck on the outside in the nascar style on the first 2 laps, as others where pushing to get to the front, and still managed to keep away from the posts.... As the group spread out a little I grabbed the opportunity to dive to the inside line (perhaps a little over keen, soz JK again) to make my bid for the battle for the front... Things fell into place for me and managed to grab the lead, and as everyone pushed and nudged for position I broke away... Thanks to the back markers who was well on the ball and left room to get by, I especially remember coming up to Jarry and Big Al having their own fight, and managed to leave a gap for me to pass, and as soon as I was by I saw them at it again in my mirror... Cheers all, great meet and place on the front row for the WF.....

My comments wernt meant to offend atall lads.... Just that pads and Rfactor dont mix m8, and the least style of pad you would need is a pad with 2 sticks.... Im offerering my `help/advice/support for those who use a joypad`, and Im afraid the only answer is get the kit you need to participate... Ski`s are very good for snow, but not that good for tennis... Even turbo tom has moved on to a wheel now.... To get any sort of consitancy or to mix it with the pack the only way forward is wheel and either bonnet or incar.... Swingman and buttons just dont work for Rfactor.... Thats the best and only advise there is going to be given.... By the way.... I know where there is a G25 for sale 100 quid.... 1 careful owner, apply within....

Lo..... Your not enjoying it mate, cause your using a knife to eat soup... To be brutally honest your trying to make an arcade game out of a simulator.... Whats wrong with moving on??... Heat is good for a pad, and wheel for Rfactor.... Using a pad and swingman on Rfactor is really defeating the point.... Its like saying that your fed up with using a steering wheel and throttle pedal in your car and putting handlebars in and having the throttle on a switch, then not being happy with the lack of control everytime you get to a round about.... When I first moved to Rfactor, I used a ps2 pad and used both analogue sticks, but used the bonnet view.... Theyre turning the anologue tv signal of soon, are you gonna watch the black and white fuzz, cause you dont want digital?? To get the most out of Rfactor and any mod, you need a half decent pc and a wheel... Id say the only wheel to have is a G25/27.... Bite the bullet and go for it.... You wont look back m8..... Change is not good,`til you get used to it...

I wonder how many points i lose throughout the year...... Seems like Lee gets my 3rd place finish in gn.... Not bad as he wernt even there this time... :s

Made the meet a right nightmare for myself... I seem to have a habit of clipping the inner barrier (either by myself or helped on it) on the opening lap, which gave me massive damage to carry, and round this super fast track made it impossible to keep up.. The start to the final was a strange one. All cars bunched up, then there was a warning for the `blues to back off` which grouped the reds and ss together, then GO was called while I was stationary... Caught me off gaurd as it seemed an early call and to be honest was expecting a restart.... The final was another race I was carrying damage from the start, had a very uneventful race til I managed to catch Skeet and Harmen, on the last corner where I was in 13th, the plan was knock them 2 out the way and hope another car had come a cropper on the exit which would have led to points, but it went tits up... loooool.... Roll on next week when we are back to the shale of Lynn....

Managed to stay out of the carnage and the lapees where spot on in the final.... Enjoyed tonight, like the track and its flowing flat out style, and pleased to pick up the first title of the year... What a start to the season!!

looks like lee finished twice in ht 2 loool.... who checks the points??? hahaha

hahahaha.... just watched replay..... I am that no talent world champ as mentioned earlier.... People in glass houses shouldnt throw stones Aub... So you have 1 race where your not givin it the `boohoo I won a championship but I cant keep up` and you think you can slate my standards for a chain reaction hit... You wear a UKSOM badge and think you`re the muts nuts, afraid you just talk blox... Yes Aub, anybody can win a world final, thats why there are several cars on the grid... Watch this space

Yup, was a good meet, pitty I sent my setup to the wrong person... llf.... As far as the handicap thing.... It seems a different rule for different people.... Everytime Ive won a final and took the handicap, Ive had to start infront of the white tops, taking the lap down handicap.... For others it seems they just get to start at the rear of the field... What is the ruling on this? Heres hoping for some more of the same next week...
