Hey guys, you might be aware of Mildenhall Stadium being threatened to close due to residents moving towards their already well-established motorsports venue and then complaining about the noise. The recent court rulings affect a wide range of leisure activities including live music and motorsport. wow, really fantastic work! so much detail on the track scenery and you've done well on the hittable posts. gotta be the most realistic short oval modelled so far just wish there was stuff like this still being made for heat! out of interest, how many polys?!

don't play rfactor, but that's an awesome piece of modelling had several attempts at modelling a basic track for heat but it's harder than most would think, so well done looks fantastic big respect to anyone developing the short oval gaming scene

Some information i'm after, and isn't easily found for some of the older tracks so thought i'd start a thread. These sections of the forum seem pretty dead but hopefully i'll get a better responce on here than on OvalChat! Below is a list i've quickly put together of most tracks and their creators. Someone called 'Dragon'? created a few tracks i'm told, but unsure which ones. Who was KISS Motorsport, does anyone know? They seemed to have made the earlier tracks which are pretty huge in comparison to todays ones we use If anyone could fill in some gaps, correct any, or indeed add new tracks to the list, it'd be pretty helpful. Was thinking maybe compiling a list of who made each car aswell, but i'll try and get the tracks list as complete as i can first. definitley be good to have another person on the scene with the knowledge of how to make cars and tracks (the latter in particular) but like others have said, it's always been the physics and the minor issues with your models that let them down. if you're approach was based on quality, rather than quantity then there's no reason why you shouldn't start modelling again if you wish to do so. i'm begining to get into modding heat and looking at how tracks and cars are made etc as I would like to start doing some of that, so i know how much work is involved, and how hard it is to get right; so i for one definitley appreciate anything anyones contributed to the Heat scene really, even if it isn't perfect first time round.
