  1. Cheers, thought it would add a bit more realism to it since I wouldn't be racing anyway. Original plan was to use the SimStox BMW pace car but only realised at the last minute it comes with the SimStox skinpacks so far too late to do anything about it. Regarding the view thats how we always run and only twigged on after the 2nd or 3rd round of heats and since there was no complaints felt no need to change it. Thanks everybody for racing and hope to see it bigger next year (although someone else can calculate the points for the consis!!)

  3. i use the force of gravity - a very strong force which gives an acceleration of 10m/s-2 that means every second, your velocity increases by 10m/s therefore, after 10s, i'll be travelling at 100m/s ps. accelaration is vertically, so i'd have to be falling through a vacuum (no air resistance) physics lesson over don't under-estimate gravity 9.81ms-2 acually
  4. is it even booting to a post screen or not doing anything? Possible hard drive buggered or system memory... or anything!! But duff hard drive sounds right
  5. Celeron 3.06 GHz 2GB RAM nVidia geForce 7900 (512MB PCI-E version) eBay special "nuopo" 2.1 speakers 80GB SATA HDD atm, but want a good 500GB yoke when funds allow All games at 1280x1024
  6. My advice is DON'T (go wireless) uness you really have to. If you have cables in place use them. And Companies are pushing wireless but I've never heard of a company that "forces" you to use wireless - after all most routers will have at least 2 wired ports
  7. was good apart from missing the 1st race, some **** keying the side of the car, and having to leave after race 6
  8. What time is it likely to be over? I'm comming over for the show this weekend and just realised its the same weekend And is it hard to find?
  9. My 1st car, a 1994 Cav TD (Isuzu). My 2nd car, 1994 Cav TD (Isuzu). See once the full bar of boost comes out to play, it embarresses most barrys in their Corsa 12v's with dopey exhausts "lexus" lights and bucket seats. And there's very little smoke too New car due in the next few weeks is a brand spanking Astra SXi sporthatch 1.7CDTi with some toys... gotta love a vauxhall
  10. when I joined the only NI drivers i knew here were sim 902 and Ryan somebody 906(loong gone), so i slotted in between at 904
  11. I got a duromoter shipped over from the USA for a mate that races F2s, and there unaccuarte as hell. When it came we were just mucking about taking readings off the road car, and it ranged from 70-85 and everything inbetween depending on how hard you press down/what angle you press/etc. The fella selling it says a "press on" durometer is to be used only as a guide because there too unaccurate in race conditions, and the only way to proper tests is to have a wee bit of tyre sent away
