  1. This Thursday 17th November sees the mighty F1's heading to Brandon Stadium, Coventry for the "Champion Of Champions" meeting. The final opportunity to race before the winter break, get booked in now! ***ADDED INFORMATION*** Tomorrow night sees UK Dirt F1 do battle in the final meeting of the season at Coventry. As it is the final meeting of the year, the Admin Team has decided to change the format slightly to make sure that we finish the season on a high. The meeting will be see the F1’s effectively run a World Final format in one night. Each driver will race in 4 heats (the qualifying rounds). There will then be two semi finals (like the World Championship Semi Finals) with the highest points scorer being on pole position of Semi Final 1. Unlike the World Championship Semi Finals, the odd number positions will be in Semi Final 1 and the even number positions will be in Semi Final 2. Eg: Semi Final 1 1st – 3rd 5th – 7th 9th – 11th etc Semi Final 2 2nd – 4th 6th – 8th 10th – 12th etc There will then be one last final (similar to the World Final) to determine the last final winner of 2011. The highest points scorer from the winners of the Semi Finals will choose which side of the grid the they start and then each semi final will alternate. So if the winner of Semi Final 1 was the highest points scorer and choose the inside, the grid would look as follows: SF1 1st – SF2 2nd SF2 2nd – SF1 2nd SF1 3rd – SF2 3rd etc As this format has been used with some success at the end of the last two seasons, it is hoped that once again, UK Dirt F1 will end the season with yet another epic meeting. MEETING FORMAT - Premier League Finale - Heat Races - Semi Final 1 - Semi Final 2 - Meeting Final - Champions of Champions Race When you then add to that the fact that you have the Premier League Finale and the Champions of Champions Race then this is surely a meeting that is not to be missed and a meeting fitting of ending any championship season. So what are you waiting for – get yourself booked in for tomorrow’s end of season finale.

  8. scratch that fasttrack, ive sorted it, apologies
  9. Matty 300 booking out g 25 problems sorry, cheers
  10. come on al m8 get that yellow paint out & finish in top 4
  11. Yeah i always get this error ben, its easily sorted. When a track doesnt come with its own installer and is simply the files you extract yourself to the locations folder, the directory structure becomes confused, giving you the error. What you need to do is bring the sexberium folder "up one" if you can call it that. Keep clicking through game data>locations>sexberium until you get to the last sexberium folder, right click on it, select cut, go back to previous sexberium folder and paste so it overwrites. Should then be fine. PM me if still struggling.
  12. When i try & get into server after ive inputted server address & clicked on join I get "incompatible game version". Ive newly installed rfactor & the mod v 1.4, & rFactor is v1.150. Am I missing something? Any help appreciated before tonights semi - final. Thanks
  13. Could someone please let me know how to go about (quickly) getting a license / activation code to install rFactor again please? Had a HDD failure and going to have to do a complete reinstall of game, mod, skinpacks etc. and concerned that imagespace may not send me one before the SF on Thursday.I have a legit copy of the game which came bundled with my g25 wheel, but if anyone can help me out with where to obtain a working activation license ASAP I would be very grateful. Cheers. Think I must have run over same cat as Paul Hines.

  17. You've hit the nail on the head Mav with the word "penalised". Thats just it, nobody does get penalised through the proper channels, or at least thats how it seems to me. Without admin reviewing reported incidents & punishing / banning / awarding DP points as they seem fit, then you have a situation where people seemingly do what they want to gain revenge without any chance of a ban. At the British at Kings Lynn I was caught up in a ridiculous feud between two drivers who were trading flat out hits, one of whom was waiting stationary by the fence in the middle of a turn so as to exact revenge on the next lap. The kind of stupid behaviour which makes off-line practice & tweaking of set-ups a complete waste of time. Despite me sending 2 PMs to 1st tier admin to complain Ive yet to receive a reply & that was now 2 weeks ago. That can mean 1 of 2 things. Either admin are swamped with incidents to review & can't cope, or the disciplinary procedure is toothless & there is no point complaining, just get payback at the next meeting & never mind if someone innocent gets in the way & has their evening ruined. If that is wide of the mark then I invite anyone in admin responsible for reviewing racing incidents and meting out appropriate punishment (in the F1's specifically) to correct me. I think it would be a real shame if long standing UK Dirt participants feel it is better to quit than have confidence in admin to deter poor driving standards. I would be happy to help out with reviewing complaints if it is simply a time issue.
  18. Couldnt agree more Grasser, was ready for throwing it in after the British & some pointless, pointless flat out hits ruined my night. Yet really enjoyed tonight when to be honest wasnt expecting much. Keep chin up Mav, it really can all change in space of a week.
  19. Apparently UKDirt has a feature in this months Stockcar Magazine. I wrote to Keith Barber about running a feature but never got a reply so assumed it wouldnt be in, but if anyone has a copy of the article / letter could they please post on here? Or maybe if anyone from forum going to Cov today buy a copy of latest issue of the mag and put a JPEG up on here that would be great. Thanks.
  20. Yeah I'll second that al I hope they keep coming back as a healthy turnout makes for much better racing. An eventful meeting for me for mostly the wrong reasons, was plunged into the premier league which came as a shock to say the least & quickly realized that Im not premier league lol, then was watching an excellent Heat 1 from the comfort of Al's cab when my PC decided to hang. Looks like im going to have to lower my graphics settings as I like to have all the bells and whistles on & the old girl cant cope.(Incidentally you were in about 4th & nearing the finish Al, what happened?) I couldnt get back into the server after that, it kept timing out despite my best efforts including a full reboot. Thanks to Corny who tried his damnedest to sort it.I ended up missing my heats 3 & 4 & then got back into the final, only for the GN to weird out. & then I couldnt get back in again! Apparently Dode was having similar problems, & the timing out is an issue Ive not suffered before so any ideas on resolving that would be appreciated. So all in all a poor night from a personal point of view, redeemed by maybe one thing, step up to the plate.... MAV!! A LOL moment when calling the start & saying roll at 30! Quality mate. Most of the whites were taking this instruction a little too literally in the races I made but thats a small gripe with new faces around. Heres to King's Lynn & less gremlins hopefully.
