Quick MIRC Setup We recommend setting mirc up as below, but there's an quick alternative if you need it here: http://www.mibbit.com/chat/?server=irc.cha...nel=%23sim-stox - type in your race name and number on 1st page only. on next page just wait for it to log in automatically. it hasnt got as many features, no sound, and you have to keep an eye out for PM,s but it does the rest ok. ____________________________________________________________________ More Detailed MIRC Setup The Connection Settings for Mirc are as follows: Server Description: #Sim-Stox IRC Server: irc.chat4all.org Port: 6667 Group: Blank Password: Blank To join the chat room type /join #Sim-Stox Step by step guide. 1. Download Mirc and install. 2. After installation, Start Mirc. 3. Select Tools/Options. 4. Enter user details, making sure to include your Race Number as part of your nickname. 5. Select Servers then Click Add. 6. Enter the server details and click add. 7. Click Ok to return to the main window. 8. Click the connect button to join the server, when connected type /join #Sim-Stox and press return. 9. When Mirc has finished connecting the Sim-Stox Chat Window will appear.

This coming week sees 3 nights of action for the Saloon Stock Cars. Monday 23rd August - Sim-stox hosted meeting National Championship (WR) qualifying - King's Lynn - 20:30 start time Day 1 of the National Championship 'Speedweekend'. Even though the real-life event is just over the one night, we never miss a chance to double the crashtastic potential for destruction so we've given the Sim-stox Volvo Bangers the night off and are running the qualifying heats from 8.30pm. All drivers will race in 5 heats each on the night battling for those precious points that will decide the grid for Tuesday night. Sim-stox drivers should book in on their own portal for this meeting. Tuesday 24th August - Sim-stox hosted meeting National Championship (WR) - King's Lynn - 20:30 start time Its back to King's Lynn where the Top 18 drivers from the Monday night will line up in points order (highest at the front) for the National Championship final. Before that though, we'll give the non-qualifiers a chance to sneak on the grid via the Last Chance Qualifier(s) where there are 4 place up for grabs. After that every driver will get the chance to race in 4 allcomers each. There are a further 6 World Ranking points for every driver that races on the Tuesday plus 20 points to the winner of the National down to 2 for tenth which means this race will have an important bearing on the World Final grid next month. There will be no Dash on either Monday or Tuesday. This is a normal domestic meeting where, hopefully, out new champion will join us for 4 heats per driver, a consolation (if required), Final and a Dash for the Cash (NO cash on offer!!) to round out 3 hard days of action. Whilst this is anormal meeting, it does count towards World Rankings via the Track Championship so those with any ambitions of avoiding the LCQ at Mildenhall in September will be here and battling for points. Both sets of drivers can book for this meeting on their own portal / website in the normal fashion.

what grades did 151 and 531 race from please? 223 is red and 18 is blue from previous SSC racing on Sim-stox did they race from those grades?

Championship Rounds World Championship & World Rankings All major championships and other selected events, will be designated as World Ranking events as shown in the fixture list. All drivers racing at these designated events will score points in 2 ways as follows: Attendance: World - 18 points Euro / British / National - 12 points Scottish / English - 10 points All other WR events - 6 points (If a championship is run over two days then drivers would score half attendance points for each day raced) The top 10 in the Championship races will score from 10pts for 1st down to 1pt for 10th, multiplied as follows: World x 5 Euro / British x 4 National x 3 Scottish / English x 2 Other WR x 1 In addition to the above, the top twenty in each tracks ‘Track Championship’ will receive 20,19,18,17,16,15,14,13,12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 points. Tracks with 1 or 2 meetings will score normal points, Tracks with 3 or 4 meetings will be doubled. Tracks with 5 or more will be trebled. World Rankings will run up to and including Ipswich 7th September 2010 at which point the top 20 cars in the rankings will automatically qualify for the WF in points order. any reserves will be taken from the next positions. Drivers not then qualified will be eligible for the Last Chance Saloon Race, formed in points order. The Top 4 in this race will join the back of the WF grid giving a 24-car final. The 2010 World Final begin with a 2 lap rolling start over 25 laps

Pedz is allocating starting grades based on gradings in other rfactor formula. Based on that I would imagine you will start as either blue or red. As such, the normal rule for minimum meetings to be downgraded will be waived for ukdirt drivers in their first month of racing.
