Think that porky's font you've used for "the snail" almost always looks epic on skins one of my favourites. Heres my latest, to be used on FNB tomorrow... as always, comments/criticisms please

dont know alot about gimp, depending on what file's it'll open save the decal as one that will open and can easily be edited. then right click the file, instead of opening in photoshop, go to "open with > gimp". then you can copy/paste it onto the skin. or you could just paint the whole skin in photo shop? sorry I cant be of more help.

I painted some banger rod's and some unlim's that raced at barford over the past few years.. i'll hunt them out n put them all in a zip file if you're interested?

My latest, nothing amazing, didnt have all my skin painting folders at the time probably gunna be used on MNW's barford unlim meeting (if the booking thread gets posted)

Haven't been on here in a while, i did put together an "idiots guide" on skins and decals when i still raced online. mainly so i didnt have to paint skins for the father. :L most people's skins start out fairly basic at the begining (unless they have had experience with the relevant software beforehand). gradually getting better and better. mine we're never as good as some peoples on here, but look great just do a quick search on the forum for the guide or browse the posts in my profile (if you can actually do that). not sure if the down load works still, but if not ill upload it somewhere when im on my desktop next. Also, merry crimbo

love the bonnet on that. looks brill. if i were you id tape up the doors or belt up your bootlid. maybe add some welds round the drivers door. but its better than my attepts at unpainted cars lol.

looks good timmy, but youve missed the bottom front of the drivers door on noons car. and mayve try to bodge in some corner plates and it'd look spot on. id leave the shadows out though n use the air brush to make them faded when you paint it for the decal.

thanks for the quick replys, thats the only pic i have of that side of the car. managed the doors and front wing fine. tried tracing that number but couldnt get it right. will try those 2 fonts and see how it goes. thanks.

that looks the tits... literaly. allthough i too think the corner plates need changing. and maybe take a look at the mapping along the top of the front wing where the wasted sign is stretched.

love the car, but i think the back panel under the boot is way too big compared to the pics you posted. great work though. needs door pillars too.
