I think I may have mentioned this previously, but I've been working on a Lightning Rod model, based on the Sierra banger. The Lightning Rod was orginally started by hitman 442 but sent to me part way through it. I did some of the new mapping and added fin plates tonight. However, I know there are a few mistakes, and these will be corrected when possible, but could anyone tell me, is there an easyish way to put a driver into the car in game, like normal cars? In addition (I will get some more pictures of it up tomorrow), is there anything anyone would like altered on/added to it? [attachmentid=11678] (I know the skin is cack, just a quick one, and the offside mapping needs re-done).

I'm not too sure about Texporter, I remember having a similar problem when I tried modelling. This will allow you to convert a .3ds to a .mod. It works in a similar way to TGA2TEX, you need to go to the "COMMAND" thingy, for example, if you're using Windows XP, you should be able to go to Start, then Run, then type CMD or COMMAND, press enter and it will open it. Then put the 3ds2mod.exe and your 3ds file in the directory it says eg. mine says "C:\Documents and Settings\Andrew" Then, in the same window, type 3DS2MOD X.3DS X.MOD (X is whatever your 3ds is called), and it should convert it to a .mod.

There aren't bus lanes up here, but I don't like the concept of them. Clarkson once said something to this effect.."Why do the poor need to get to where they are going any more than you?" (addressing someone who owned a car), which I agree with. I can't help but wonder how the bollards etc distinguish between a bus and anything else?
