I was about 13 when that picture was taken! Mcrew, you're half right. The dog urinates against lamposts and doesn't like postmen, whereas its salesmen (especially telemarketers) that I don't like (and, of course..tree huggers).

Nice attempt mate. Its good for a first try, as others have said, it could do with a floor. I know rendering isn't easy when you first start doing them, keep practising and it will become easier

Nice skins As Kruiz said, black seems popular for online F1s. I think F1s suit darker colours. Although, with your number on tar aerofoil, maybe it would look better with a black stroke to make it stand out more?

Don't agree with that, rendering a car is one thing, I can't see the problems with that but editing it is another and shouldn't be done without permisson from the creator. I agree in part with what you are saying. I agree with making minor changes to a model eg. deleting the number fin, just for a render. However if you put it in the game like that, without the creator's permission then its not acceptable.

Might be worth people backing up any files they change within the game as it could cause cheat messages in servers. Well done for doin this m8 Thanks I wrote in the tutorial not to use the wheels online as this could cause cheat messages and that they might want to back up the part.res file. If you are using a regular wheel online, but have the capability to use custom wheels, will it still cause the dreaded cheat messages? Eg. Say I'm being fenced online, using regular wheels, but I have added my own wheels into the part.res, will there still be cheat messages?

At least 3 people have asked about this on MSN, so I decided to create a tutorial for it to avoid having to explain it over and over again. This is only for the banger game, I don't know about any others. The files mentioned in the tutorial, eg. wheel.3ds are included in the zip file. My old one was 800 I remember a race-winning car at Crimond being offered for £1000 so you can get a competitive one for that kind of money.
