  1. 5 points behind with 3 games in hand = 9 possible points, its in our hands, rangers were unlucky today, played well in the 1st half and had a few decisions go against us namely an offside 1st goal for celtic but we've all had them, anyway I will take the uefa cup over the league anyday of the week WATP
  2. Intersting why Middler got banned by GMP for this hit but they choose to stick it on the main cover of the programme the week after lol
  3. Too get slightly back on topic, I was there and although at the opposite corner of the track and slightly worse for wear due to a few Stella's, it was an absoloute stotter, (not saying it was right) the pics of the car show how hard the impact was, as long as the drivers can walk away thats a plus, however as listed above the possible price of repair is frightening, where total follow in's are unnaceptable and dangerous (IMO) theres nothing better than a hard fought race rather than the move over and follow the leader that we sometimes get.
  4. Im not long back myself, my 1st big banger meeting attended, not my cup of tea I must say, however it suited to go as I was at the NEC show on Saturday, crowd was massive, we left after race 7 as it was getting colder and they were taking longer and longer every race to clear up and get things going again after doing it so quick the 1st few races, as I say not my cup of tea but something im glad ive went and seen.
  5. Hi lads ive just registerd on here, I was also at Cowdie both days and must agree that it was the best meeting ive seen there in a long time. Im more of a stock rod fan as I have a couple of mates who race them. 1st of all welldone to Robert MacDonald for taking the National points away from Gunner and also a great year he has had winning the Scottish and Irish Open as well as the Cowdie track points, not to mention his top 3 finishes in the World, British and ORCi. Every 1 likes a good bit of gossip round the track about who said what etc, and I have two good 1s. 1st of all after Robert 17 won the Scottish he shook D.Philp's (29) hand and was congratulated, next up his not so close freind mr Lattka who decided to shake his hand and inform him the he now only had to win it another 3 times just like he had, 1,2,3 what a plonker. Next good one after that, Robert had to take his car to Cowdenbeath on the wednesday nite after the Scottish to get his engine stripped down, and was pulled aside by our amazing promoter mr McDougall who told him you won the Scottish but you have NO chance of winning the National points from Gunner. Promptly spurring Robert on to travel the length and breadth of the country to take the silver roof from Gunner and as stated earlier taking the Irish Open on the way, so a big thank you to Mr McDougall for his wise words, hope they taste good as you now choke on them. End of season is hear so a few empty weekends ahead, lets hope they pick up from where they left off at the weekend in March 06
