for your first model i would say gr8 job , I never been able to do come soo far as this... 2 things though: as FBF said maybe it is better so modifiy the ecxisting volvo240 (allthough 245 is not exactly same as 240 but hey who cares ...) The car looks too wide IMO or the roof pillars are too low..... one of both the only problem you mite have getting it into nascar heat mite be the distance from backaxle to frontaxle is more then the volvo240 in the game (when you want to make an exact copy of the volvo hearse from the picture)

My memory is very sketchy about carmageddon as it's been a while since I did any modelling for it but if you haven't already got it download Plaything2 from one of the carma sites, that will alow you to open .dat files, I can't remember whether it allows you to export .3ds files though and if it does it may not export the mapping with it. I have all of my carma2 stuff on cd somewhere so if you get stuck give me a shout and I'll try to search it out. Nick thanx for the help so far ... Yes I can open the .dat in plaything2 ..... But I cant export it as 3ds or .max file ..... we (some friends of mine and me) travel a few times a year to the nurburgring to watch, its a 2 hour drive for us and really worth it to sit down and watch all day to see the mad men/women who try to make the fastest lap of their live and dont succeed there is a bend called "adenauer forst" where we go to , where we see lots of them in porsches , ferrari's ,lowered yapanese cars etc make the wrong turn and go off on the grass , very entertaining

a guy i know installed the banger offline game so far so good , but when he starts the game it says: Your videocard reports that it does not support 3D graphics if hou have previously crashed you need to reboot does he have to download a patch or a new videocard , or is there a trick to skip this problem ? thanx for the help in advance , Frank

Does this mean that i can replace the ui.res file from the Ukdirtf1 for the ukdirtbanger ui.res file and the banger game will work ??or am I not right in that ?

I want to put summit on cd-rom for friends to download the offline banger game. i did find the nascar heat essentials here : http://themodsquad.uni.cc/modules.php?name...download&cid=10 wich says i should be able to run mods without problem.
