now got my new graphics card, the game works but i have a small niggling problem apart from the fact my driving resembles a drunken man . every so often the game sort of pauses for a few seconds and then when it goes again im in the fence or wherever. any ideas? ps. many thanks to pedz whom without his help i would never have got this far. cheers m8.

thanks for your replies guys. its a different problem to yours cider i get that sometimes aswell but like you said restart and its cured. this happens with heat, playing music, anything. when the person starts singing on a song it sounds a bit like the chipmunks with a robotic voice. with heat the car sounds like a laser beam ( it sort of buzzes as oppose to revs ). without listening to it its hard to describe it. ill have a look thru the sound settings and see if anythings amiss.

the sounds i get from my speakers are robot like and higher pitched than normal. the same thing happened with my old speakers ages ago. is there a problem with my computer hardware or is there some settings which i can adjust to fix it. thanks in advance.

i played against kevin painter in an exhibition match at my parents snooker club 3 weeks before that tournament. i reckon he played so well cos he learnt a lot from playing against me. wd barney was an epic match. deserved it after missing 5 or 6 shots for the match earlier on and being 3-0 down aswell.

just a dumbass question really. i just bought/downloaded r factor and am wondering if you need to download and install a mod in order for it to work as at present when you try to start the game a box with the r factor logo appearse, disappears and then thats it. any ideas or any links to a tutorial on how to get started with it. ran a search on here but got no joy. damo.

i use a wheel trim cable tied in then cling film it up or just cling film the steering wheel.

yes mate. its a 1800 manual but the clutch is gone on it. gonna put a pinto in it when i use it but got to modify a manifold so it misses the steering box.
