To be honest as it was are first year we just wanted to try and finish, we done that and also put in some good times in the race being quicker than a lot off other drivers. We did manage to move up about 10 places i was upto 14 at one point but then tryed to go round the outside but after the tyres doin 60 laps the best off them had gone but we so very nearly made it, all good fun and as terminator said i will be back !!!! Car now getting to where we want it to be so roll on the w/q rounds for next year so we can try and get higher on the grid.

actually that pearl has been done before in a ministox, joanna annison, 134, she has it on her sunstrip, "barbie n proud" Ok mate well i did not no that but not many cars have had it done !!! Here are some final pictures of the national all done not the best quality as light wernt the best as car in the garage but hopefully get the idea.

Couple of things mate on mine i done the elmdale with a curve in it, Also the vsm on the bonnet is to big as that is really only on the scuttle pan and last but not least the phone number on the boot aint that scroll writting its more bold and that. But better than i could do on a computer keep up good work.

Thanks for the comments mate !! As for the numbers thought it would be to much if it had all colour numbers aswell. As for the interior thats real hassle lol aint got time for that

Ok mate i am hoping to finish it tom so will try to get all the panels from the right angles so you can see the writting and post them up when its done.

The Austin on my name plate is actually done in pearl so it changes about 4 different colours, thought i would try it as i never seen it done before on a oval racecar so like to try these things !!!!

Still abit more to do, plus all the fancy stars and things but thought i would give you all a sneak of how the hotrod looking please give feedback good or bad.

Thanks very much to everyone who has posted on here. I have just come back from press day at foxhall where we have been doing a few laps, with the car now with its new paint on but no signs yet (cant get the sign writters can ya) we started off slowly as we had to run new brakes pads and things in but as the morning went on the car got better and better. The last run we done we seemed well on the par with the top cars and my lap time was 9th fastest i think and was only 3tenths off the fastest car so we do now seem to be getting on the right track again after having a real poo end to the year, but atleast it has made all the 1 oclocks in the morning the past week to get the car ready worth while. So i will be starting right near the back but will be trying to go forward and get as high as pos will post up some pics as i sign write the car this week. Again thanks to the all the team sponsers and anyone who has helped could not be done without all the help.

Hello all just some help needed if pos please when i go to load rfactor i get the fault below come up, i have tried deleting it and downloading again but nothing seems to work any help would be great

Where everyone staying who coming down anyone doing the camping thing at the show ground or booked hotels i only live 10 mins from track so will be going home for a beer or 2 after meeting

I will be there with the national as it looks like i have qualified for the world at are first attempt, even though we had a bad year this year where we have tried things with the car and not worked we now seem to be getting back on the pace. I will be the one with the the team that all look tired after pushing the car round to the grid lol.

World Champion in the making there good to see the young ones are still having fun as they will be what keeps the sport going in years to come. All the best in your racing and most of all have fun

Yes i will be signwritting it and for me its all abit of fun so if the crash comes along i will go for it if not then i will just have a ride round, least when it gets smashed up i wont have to worry about getting axle straight and all that stuff just scrap it lol. It is the first banger i have done since racing the national but i did race a mk2 granny limo at gala night ipswich when i had a lightning rod so all good fun !! The car is not for that scrapheap meeting its a team meeting after that in may sometime, let you no when i check lol I will post some more photos up soon as done abit more on it, what would i do if i gave up racing have to find something to keep me in the garage every night lol
