Yer i have got a real good team round me and would not be able to do what we do with out them, as for the names cant take everything to serious can ya only a hobby at the end of the day. And yes we do tend to consume some beer when working on car thats why we always set it up first !!!
-
We done the nec with some good races had by all. This is how the car looked when we unloaded from the lorry [attachmentid=22334] And this is what it looked like after the me and the team had been on it for a couple of hours, no panels no engine no gearbox and all cleaned ready to have suspension pionts altered and engine work to be done before march [attachmentid=22335] [attachmentid=22336]

Yer it should look the nuts mate crack on and get it finished and we will see !!!!

I bought my airbrush from the big usa if you ever get one then i would advice getting a doulble action trigger one as alot easier to get fine lines with it rather than a single which is just on or off. As for asking what vinyl is its a sheet of sticky plastic i suppose is a easy way to explain it that you put through a machine and it will cut what ever you have designed (hope that makes sense lol) Thanks for your comments i will try to keep putting new stuff i do on here for you all to give some feed back on and if anyone wants anything doing then just let me no !!! Thanks jay

I have lost my insruction book for flexi and cant remeber if you can do it or not. Thanks for all the help above jay

Thanks for that dan Thanks for that pedz yes i did get a win in the second heat and then the final i was quicker but i was told that you could only get one win so dont mind really all abit of fun really just to try and put a show on. Yes it is a bmz z4 which they are going to bring into nationals. I think that i looked awfull but it is everyone to there own and sometimes in nationals now it is how it measures rather than how it looks so we will have to wait and see if it can take over from the tigra i dont think it will !!!! The only good thing with all these new ideas is that if i make the world final at my first attempt this year then i will probally have the only normal 206 on the grid ( i like to be different ) Cheers jay. Did anyone go in the live arena to watch the oval cars as i was racing in there for the first time and it was quite good.
-
Hello mate i have a vinyl cutter but i do not use your program are you using serial port aor usb ? If you are using usb make sure the program is trying to find the cutter in the right port as i had a prob that the program was trying one port but the cutter was setup on a different one. Hope this helps

mcrew , thats given me somthing to think about , a simple way to stiffen the bloody thing up. Its 25 years since i raced bangers, MK1/2 Grannies and Triumph 2/2500's were 10 a penny then - the simple way then was to bang a couple of holes thro the shell fllor and wrap chains thro and around the (Rear) wishbones to pull the spring out. I dont think todays scruitineers would stand too much of that approach Cheers bud Hello yes you can cut the springs down but like said above if you want a easy solution then as long as the tank is out then heat them up and the weight of the car will lower the springs to the height you want. Only thing you have to remeber is when you comprees a spring or cut the spring rate will also be more so it will stiffen as you make the spring smaller and if it is a rod then try to get the inside abit harder but shorter than the outside rear, dont no if you will get this if you just messing with standard springs. Hope this helps in someway. Jay
