Rikard Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 My latest attempt, using Rikard's tutorial. That looks fantastic! one hundred times better than some of your previous renders the wheels all look lined up perfect and in contact with the floor, plus of course the texture is no longer "flat" meaning its now got lovely reflections and shadows, defiantly your best render i have seen from you. Keep up the good work Erik, PS. I like the touch of the Scottish flags on the number plates
martwisely Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 More good renders. and good work there Erik... I might have a try at Rikards tutorial lookes easy enough to follow. Martin

Obviously I will need a bit of practice at doing such renders, but they are already starting to look better than my previous ones. I must admit though I used the wheels you supplied when you sent me the Anglia 3d file and just changed their size to fit on the Jag. Thanks for your comment about the number fins, but as you can see I forgot to put numbers on. Edited July 25, 2006 by erik
Ryano Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 try 3 what do you think of the car *its the same one from both sides* and truck come to think of it
Ryano Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 Then i got bored and found a program called photoshop.....
hotrod331 Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 loving the lorry going sideways down a hill! and them grannys cant be road legal!the tyres are flat for a start!
erik Posted July 25, 2006 Author Report Posted July 25, 2006 (edited) Ryano, not criticising, but I think the proportions of the Granadas on the lorry are a bit out, maybe make them a little bigger?, other than that Edited July 25, 2006 by erik

erik Posted July 26, 2006 Author Report Posted July 26, 2006 Here are my latest attempts, renders of my Pre68 car for Martin's League.
chops660 Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 (edited) To get your floor and background all blending in to one without any horizon line, do a quick render, then put the cursor on the edge of the floor colour and hold down the right mouse button. this should bring up the RGB colour numbers. then just change the enviroment background to this colour and hey presto!!! Edited July 26, 2006 by chops660
chops660 Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 after posting i relised i had a horizon line in it....lol try this one....
