Grasser233 Posted December 16, 2004 Report Share Posted December 16, 2004 Hi, Yorick is having major problems with internet explorer, It wont let him view any web page and just shows this error page which, to me, doesnt look like a genuine error. wrighty496 Posted December 16, 2004 Report Share Posted December 16, 2004 by the looks of the message m8, the virus is already there and the address in the top bar shows (i think) that its in his system32 folder launching and therefore its probably deeper in than that. I always recommend HijackThis for these kind of things. It does a scan, you save a log, then theres a forum on their site that you can post the log onto for analysis - theyre very quick and very good in my experience so thats my tip (btw Grasser you can download the software for him i think, then he can receive it and scan and send the log to u if thats ok?) best of luck Yozz ...........
