Tombo209 Posted August 14, 2006 Report Posted August 14, 2006 they had troubles changing the prop so they put it on another stock car to solve the problem.

If a driver pisses you off, stick them in the tyres Having said that...it isn't bangers. Edited August 14, 2006 by erik

Andymek Posted August 14, 2006 Report Posted August 14, 2006 The tyres have to be less painful to hit than a brick wall! Wouldnt go as far to say that Earache!! Ask Gordon Alexander about that!!! P.S, Here's another pic from that era, when tensions ran high!!!!
Andymek Posted August 14, 2006 Report Posted August 14, 2006 Plus heres another pic when haircuts were a true work of art!! Anything Scrappy could do Mekky ..............errrrrr couldn't!! I'm in there somewhere!!!
willie454 Posted August 14, 2006 Report Posted August 14, 2006 Those were the days andy, brucie and Eddie George etc etc and no yellow flags, great racing
Guest Scrapman53 Posted August 14, 2006 Report Posted August 14, 2006 I just wish Eddie Paterson was there every week with a video camera in those days. Lol.
willie454 Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Newtongrange, chops. we took the pie hut as well.
Guest Scrapman53 Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 That's our security guard at the bottom with the white hair. He was told to tell anyone that attempted to stand on the stairs to stay away as we'd be back in force starting from summertime in 1989. Those steps used to be full to the max in the 90s and the banter usually had me in stitches every week. Shame it nearly looks like the pic again most Saturdays, but the racing just aint the same at Cowdie any more.
Badura_Racing258 Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Let me get it in... 'Back in the good old day......' 'When men were men and sheep were safe.....the racing was great back then'
erik Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Let me get it in... 'Back in the good old day......' 'When men were men and sheep were safe.....the racing was great back then' Another one I like to say is "...When men were men and Minis were mini"
