theboss Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 Just been looking at the race rules for the F1's and it says you must do the rolling lap at 30mph. How? I cannot seem to get a steady 30mph. How do u guys do it?
Rikard Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 If your using a keyboard its tricky, you just have to tap the "Go" key and try and keep it around 30, most people use an analog controler with the sticks, much like a PS2 controller, then you can push the stick forward and hold it halfway, then its possible to find the right spot and hold it at 30, not easy to keep it dead on though.
theboss Posted August 22, 2006 Author Report Posted August 22, 2006 Yeah, using keyboard at the moment (never really bothered with games on the pc) so need to get a controller.
Frits392 Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 Yeah, using keyboard at the moment (never really bothered with games on the pc) so need to get a controller. It's possible with keybord, use a high gear for rolling lap and then shift back to lower one at start might help
Kruiz 136 Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 I use a keyboard at the moment nut the way i have my gear ratio's set up for most tarmac tracks (in F1) all i have to do is accelerate and brake at the same time and i get a balanced speed of about 28mph which isn't far off.
theboss Posted August 23, 2006 Author Report Posted August 23, 2006 Bought control pad 2day, much easier. How do you adjust gear ratios then?
Jimmy Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 go onto single player then pick car - track then click garage and the yellow box gears - click it then u can adjust them
