H33Racing Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 Here's just an idea, cause noticed that 3d max is getting more and more popular, isnt it an idea to make a 3D section on forum were we can post our scenes, renders, models etc .. problem also solved that people are asking everywhere for 3D stuff .. Cheers Mark
Rikard Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 Sounds like a great idea, makes sence aswell
The London Allstar Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 Seconded. Definatly a good idea, look forwar to that one
hotrod331 Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 could be a very good idea but people would have to be careful uploading files that arent theres all my models can be uploaded
MoR137 Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 (edited) could be a very good idea but people would have to be careful uploading files that arent theres all my models can be uploaded Or you could just rename the skin painting to section to skin painting and rendering forum, as thats what it is anyway, no need to start a new forum imo. Also, if you felt inclined too kev, maybe a small note at the top of the page about uploading files etc, everyone has a different view on so it may be worth reminding people this Edited October 19, 2006 by MoR137
Vixtro Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 Yea would be a great idea and I don't know if you can do it on this type of forum but if you can I think it would be a good idea to add it as a sub-forum in skin painting. Just an idea
Badura_Racing258 Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Where did everyone get their 3D max is what i want to know
H33Racing Posted November 1, 2006 Author Report Posted November 1, 2006 (edited) i've got mine ordered when i was still at school .. needed it for my subjects at school ..costed a fair price but it was worth it .. so its a legal version .. still working with 3D Max 5 tho .. could be a very good idea but people would have to be careful uploading files that arent theres all my models can be uploaded Or you could just rename the skin painting to section to skin painting and rendering forum, as thats what it is anyway, no need to start a new forum imo. Also, if you felt inclined too kev, maybe a small note at the top of the page about uploading files etc, everyone has a different view on so it may be worth reminding people this I know that we have this at the moment but just thought it was better to have 3d max stuff and painting separated .. maybe things get more clearer for some people and we dont have the same questions over and over again. We could post a rendering guide as people ask a lot about this and a thread where we can share scenes etc .. Cheers Mark Edited November 1, 2006 by H33Racing
Tombo209 Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 Would be nice to see a render'in part of the forum but kev's probobly got enough things to do atm.
Bumpy Posted March 31, 2007 Report Posted March 31, 2007 A Dutch guy made a film about "How to render" You can download it here: http://files.filefront.com/renderewmv/;708...;/fileinfo.html Luc
Badura_Racing258 Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 Seems loads of people have shelled out big bucks for it
wrighty496 Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 Seems loads of people have shelled out big bucks for it in the end, is it a bad thing that hobbyists get to use old versions of software without paying megabucks?
