how do i fix this

every time i try to load bangers and stock cars   it comes up with nascar heat has excited unexpectely (1).   then it comes up with the heat error readme   what does this mean?

Have you just downloaded the mods lately? There seems to be a problem with the UI.RES files when downloading from the UKDirt site at the moment. (Albertz had problems on Saturday when he downloaded the mods onto his new PC.)

yes got them recently but briscas and hot rods work just not bangers and stock cars

go into the folders of the mods that do not work and check the size of the ui.res i had this poblem before they ways 0kb get someone to send you them on msn

Any old ui.res should work (even from another mod) as long as the options available are the same- half my heat mods only ever used the standard ui.res.  Of course, you don't get the full flavour, but you should be able to race.
