Badura_Racing258 Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Hi, What's the gossip? Has anyone bought a new car, sold it on....retired after last? Just wondering what's all the goings on, if you can keep on top of what's going on behind the scenes and what's happening? I've not heard very much, apart from Gordon Alexander (71) sold his saloon to Neil Williamson (689). Young McGill (263?) has got himself an F2 to race around 'The Racewall', which i beleive looks really nice. Mark Untershutz is said to be going back to the bangers (Let's not mention which team he's with) after a 'missed' season in Saloons. That's all i can really tell (which i think you know anyway...) Who's getting a new car? Who's sold up? Any new comers to the sport, North and South of the border? Thanks, David

Magpye105 Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 Well most of you already know that I recently bought a VW Polo 1300 Stock Car....due to my work commitments in the run up to Christmas the car has sat in a workshop with little work on it!!! It needs quite a bit of work before it will hit the track! The good news is that I will be using one of the best oval racers there has been in my lifetime to help set the car up for me..... a service that is going to cost more than the car did! I plan to make my debut in the formula around March if things go to plan racing with the 105 number that was raced by my Dad in the 1980s in Hot Rods. Looking for a VERY cheap trailer if anyone knows of one sitting around, less than £300 if possible, there seems to be very little for sale at the moment which has surprised me

Shaft Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 (edited) I've seen him race a few times like he's no the best but spices it up and always has a swipe at Big Gordon(71) which is always good and you don't know who's goin to win until the race is over when the biffster is out there unlike the usual prosession every other week thats just IMO though so ur entitled to yours! At least there's never a dull moment when Biff's about. Edited January 7, 2005 by Scrapman53
NightOwl Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 At least there's never a dull moment when Biff's about. 2681[/snapback] I couldn't stand him, and was always shouting for Strath (or anybody else) to fire him, but I hope he gets back soon as at least it was great entertainment, which is greatly lacking in the 'loons just now.
Kev152 Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 was great entertainment. The honeymans are true stock car drivers - they know how to hit a car, and no how to take it, and can race as well when they want to...Remember Stevie winning the Barclay Memorial was it? and winning a race at Kings Lynn on his first meeting on Shale. Not the biggest fan of them, but they are entertainment. And Scottish. So when i'm down south, I'll support them and cheer on them
Pedz 212 Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 i hear John Fortune is getting fresh sign writing done in feb but is it for a new rs chassis?
Badura_Racing258 Posted January 7, 2005 Author Report Posted January 7, 2005 With regards to the Honeymans, they are entertaining....but when Biff went for Strath who was parked up, full throttle...i think he lost any credibility he had for making the saloons entertaining.
