Evenig Guys,

Well that was another interesting meeting. The heats seemed quite comfortable and then once we get to the all in race the carnage seemed to ensue!!

We did see some really good racing however, which as always is great to see. I did enjoy watching the final from the side lines, and the finish was superb.

Well done to Hutch #331 on taking the final, and avoiding the carnage to get a good place in the grand national which helped him to become top scorer on the night. It looks like he really is starting to stamp his authority over the rfactor mod. Will this continue or will this change?

Other winners on the night were Kruiz #136, DB #318 and TomD #112, who all took heat races, and then MoR #137 rounded off the night with a fine grand national win.

Quite enjoyed it tonight, I think I may be a tarmac only racer in rFactor until i get some better kit eventually. I'll never win anything in these and I need to practice more but it was good stuff. Thanks to all who ran it and well done Hutch and the other winners.

Tarmac racer Big Al is working on a shale special me thinks.

I didn't know you'd popped round the garage m8, hope you don't pass any secrets on about my shale special.

I really enjoyed last night, thanks to Johno for running it (how quick? lol) and well done to Hutch for taking the final win.

Was a mixed bag for me last night, had a disastrous 2nd heat which saw me putting in a last bender for one whole point on Dazza (sorry mate, lol). The final didn't start any better, seemed to collect everything on the first two laps before clipping the spun danskin car on the back straight which sent me spinning uncontrollably onto the infield. Once id got off the tricky logs I found myself in last being lapped by 4th place. I managed to unlap myself as the leaders dealt with the carnage, and some how came home 6th..... was quite pleased with that but quite how I did it I don't know! Then the GN came as a welcome end to the night, just seemed to get all the luck in that one. Who says you make your own luck? Oh Paul Hines.....

Great stuff anyway, and looking forward to next week at Ipswich for some World Final practice (don't forget its Whites and Yellows round 2 next week too!) Then the week after that the WCQRs start and things start getting a bit more serious!

Great, just in time for my first meeting RM'ing lol.

I think last nights meeting was very enjoyable if slightly frustrating at times. The heats went well but as I lined up for the final I was sure something would go wrong to mke it a hatrick of final DNF's this season lol. I wasn't wrong either, come lap two I had front right and left rear suspension damage and was scambling in a tight pack of reds over some unforgiving infield logs. I can't remember what happened between lap 2 and 16 but I found myself third with the top 2 insight and actually could have won if I had known it was last corner as I was right on the back bumper of Hutch going into the last bend. Oh well, it was a miracle I came 2nd, just goes to show you should never give up on rFactor, anything could, and usually does happen.

Hope to see you all (and more) next week
