Mav Posted May 17, 2008 Report Share Posted May 17, 2008 I keep receiveing spam e-mails via this group, and however hard they try I don't want to earn $3,000 !!!!! As there is a very slim chance that we require this group ever again, anyone know how to delete an account from it, bearing in mind that it is some 5 years since I last used it and hence cannot remember my login nor my password. I have tried the "Account reminder" button, but the questions that it asks - I know not those answers either!!! So just wondering if the "Group" - ukdirt@yahoogroups.com can be deleted ???? thus stopping the spam e-mails. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jonnyboy295 Posted May 17, 2008 Report Share Posted May 17, 2008 I was having this problem ages ago, I can't remember exactlly but I think you need to go to yahoo.com then groups (should bring up my groups) and i think there is an option there to cancel membership of the group, I am (reasonably!) sure you dont do it from within the group.
