Speaky raced with a Red Roof at the F2 WF at King's Lynn the year of the fuel blockades  2.gif

Was he not defending champion that race hence why he started at the back ??  shrug.gif

I assume you mean that the car he raced had a red roof, rather than Speaky actually being a red roof  blink.gif

It probs is the one Bozz started and then got finished, then I think his pc crashed and he lost it. My efftwo chassis has the rollcage like the slite volution. Thats about the only resemblance.

cheers

The 218 pic is part of the new elite racing leaflet sent to me to advertise on my website. Not sure who did the 218 car though.

That car in the workshop looks like the 79 f2.

Out of interest, does anyone know how much that new blue F2 in the workshop cost?

Could be racing in F2's soon, and would just like to know what the top men spend!

25 what?!?!

If it was £25 can I have 3 please?  blink.gif

A Stock Car costing £25,000? I'd be scared to take it off the trailer  ohmy.gif

£25.000?  isn't that a little hefty for a stock car, everyone knows stock cars are expensive but you can have cars built for half that brand new.

mine was about 25 to build with spares.

Did you have it gold plated?

There's no way an F2 would cost that much, even with spares. (unless of course you got ripped off)

his was a prototype superstock though. So he may have beenr ipped off with it costing alot more than other cars out there because it was first one out the garage as an experiment.

Sweet baby Jesus! 25 GRAND! scared15.gif My car cost me much less than a tenth of that and yeah i may never win a final with it but if it means spending that sort of money i dont care!

You told me before Minime you and your Dad had no money, i wish i was that skint  rofl.gif

Jason Cooper's new 482 superstox as featured in Short Circuit in May....cost a reputed £20,000+ to build.  And unlike Poulter's sorry Minime's superstox Cooper's was not on the pace from the off!

Go F2 racing if you have that sort of money, or even F1s!

Oval Racing News reported why that isn't an option for Jon!

Come on Mart, there must be nearly £400 worth of steal in it!

How do you get to 25K?

It was built by the same TG that was interviewed in 7.3 noting that an engine cost more than a chassis and that that was wrong??

I guess 25K would be enough to start up a new business.............
