I'm generally anything from .1 to .3 of a second away from the fastest people per lap round some tracks. I just try to stay out of trouble and be consistant. I also find if you use someone elses setups you may be faster with them but adjust them to your liking and so that they handle better overall thus giving you more consistant laps instead of the odd banzai lap thats a new personal best.
