Many congratulations to TomD (112) on becoming the UKDirt F1 2009 National Series Champion and will wear a Silver roof next season. He is also the National Grading Points Champion (which was confirmed several weeks ago). Also congratulations to Tosh (8) on winning the meeting Grand Final and to Corny (391) on winning the Champion of Champions race for the third time in his career.

First of all, well done to TomD on taking the silver roof for 2009. It was a very interesting concept, but he drove well, and consistently and took the title.

Well done to Tosh for taking the meeting final, and to Corny for winning the Champions of Champions Race.

I went into the meeting just hoping to consolidate third place, but with MoR having a mare, I managed to pinch second place.

Had mixed heats tonight, but a change in car set up meant that the car was better for the rest of the evening. Had a good meeting final, and after a bad start in the grand national, actually finished that nicely too.

Onto the Champions of Champions Race, and I hit no one in the race, and managed to escape. Corny was half a straight ahead, and I began to think maybe, just maybe. It wasn’t to be the case though, as if anything, Corny pulled away. The harder I tried, the worse I got.

All in all, has been a very good season for myself. I have once again improved, and I have got to aim higher next season.

Finally, thanks to my superb Admin Team. All of them have been by my side all year, and are a fantastic support. Without each and every one of them, there is no way you would have a league, and I think it is important to remember.

So can I sign off by saying, thanks to everyone who raced this season, and supported the league. We hope to grow bigger and better in UK Dirt’s tenth season. And a huge thank you to the Admin Team – without them, this league would not be as good as it is!

Thanks to the UK Dirt F1 Admin Team.

Cheers

Johno

Well done on the National Series, Tom, and well done on the Final tonight, Tosh.

Corny winning the CoC race is hugely impressive, he has thereby shown he can be as good on rFactor as he was on Heat & DTRSC. :appl:

Thanks, as ever, to Kev for running and stewarding the meeting - much appreciated. Well done Tosh on winning the meeting Final, hectic one that at least from my perspective, and TomD for winning the silver - I certainly enjoyed the meeting and got rare opportunities to mix it with the higher graded drivers from my relatively low current grade. The track, I feel is one of the best as it demands a lot from the driver, one of my favourites to watch at in real life and a pleasure to race online.

Pleased to notch up another couple of wins and looking forward to 2010

I've done just over half of the rF F1 meetings this season, I'd say I've enjoyed the last month or so more than any other so far in the mod - thanks to all involved in running the meetings and all the best to everyone over the Christmas period.

Thx,

Corny

chuffed to get the meeting win tonight. :5: vue is not one of my favoured tracks on the slippery sliddy brown stuff but managed to work through the field in the heats using the mashed in front bumper on the front.

the final was a good race between myself trav, cowie, johno and a few yellows along the way. the plan was to try and keep it neat and tidy instead of being agressive with the bumper this time and it paid off for me for a change.

i battled with 2nd place for a while think it was #61 and began the chase down of trav. he was unlucky to be held up by the dutch contingent but i got hampered slightly myself with personal battles. i managed to get up the inside of trav who was musterd outward onto the fence. i then managed to keep a gap from murf till the flag.

coming 5th from the lap handi in the gn was an acheivment again for me, typical that it wasnt for points tonight as i would have scored 43  .

wd to corny for his coc win the 1st lap was a bit of anyones race and turned into a bumper fest. but looking forward to next year, new cars, new number and the new wheel is working out just fine for me.

thanks to johno /kev and admin for a great year and their hard work.

Tosh

Ello,

Sorry but UkDirt limits me from posting where appropriate and instead here in the shadows.

Just wanted to say well done to Corny on his CoC rFactor win.
