Simon
bobbert325 Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 (edited) I have a NVIDIA GeForce 9400 gt and that runs rfactor ok m8. Struggles with hot rods for some reason though. Aim fo that sort of spec or higher if ya can and i think mine was about £30 off ebay. Hope your recovery is going well m8. Edited June 15, 2011 by bobbert325

wee dode Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 best spending money for a decent graphics card, i paid £90 brand new for mine and it runs rfactor great but i never run it with full shaddows etc.

southy277 Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 I run a XFX 640MB Nvidia 8800GTS card and i could turn everything up full even when using a AMD 6000 Dual core and 2GB RAM. I then got a deal to buy a £400 New card for £150. The old one is sat in a box. Keep meaning to put it on ebay but if anyone fancies it PM me and i'm sure we can sort something out.
Hutch#331 Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 Take the side of your case si and have a look at what the watts and amps say on the PSU, or even take a picture of the side of it.
Simon31 Posted June 15, 2011 Author Report Posted June 15, 2011 on my PSU it says max output power 450w
Hutch#331 Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 Should be sound enough si, send bigfatdad a pm about his card.
Simon31 Posted June 16, 2011 Author Report Posted June 16, 2011 ive spoke to BFD and he doesnt wanna sell it now as he wants a spare, any ideas? if i can have links to them or ebay links that would be great!
Hutch#331 Posted June 16, 2011 Report Posted June 16, 2011 I wouldnt recomend buying a 2nd hand card unless you know the person and history of it, are you splashing the cash just now si lol, whats your budget.
