Johno3 Posted August 25, 2011 Report Share Posted August 25, 2011 (edited) Hello All, Tonight there will be a 'virtual' coin toss to decide which driver will start the World Final on pole position. At the start of the meeting I will ask one of the drivers to call 'Heads' or 'Tails'. This website will be used to determine the outcome of the coin toss. Anyone will be able to see the result as the website stores the results of the coin tosses for a number of days. Tonight's meeting will start at 20:30 so in order to be around for the coin toss, you will need to be in chat at 8:25pm. I will then ask Mike for his call (Mike will call as he scored the most World Championship Qualifying Points) and so the coin toss we will use, will be at 20:28 (UK time). In order to see the result of the toss, go to the website linked above and do the following: - Scroll down to: To view a prior coin toss - Make sure the date is today’s date (it is American so it will read 8/25/2011) - Change the time to 15:28 (the time recorded on the website is American time - 5 hours behind ours). - The click ‘fetch’. The winner of the coin toss will have the choice of starting on the inside (pole) or outside position. The result of the coin toss will then be given in MiRC chat along with the current World Final grid.
