Well done to Tom. The final seemed to be an excellent race, didn't think we were going to catch Aub, and then when I did get my chance it was over before I got through. Excellent timing!

 

All in all a good meeting, just a pity the track seems unpopular bookings-wise.

WD Tom. After the first few laps of the final i decided to pull off and watch the battle for the title.

I am not a fan of this track and got more annoyed with it throughout the meeting. Guess its the same reason for the booking numbers.

 

Back to the shale next week so hopefully I can get some better results.

Well I had a blast it was bloody good to be back. That was the first time I had raced f1s since the world final last year.

 

The heats were a bit of a struggle as I was fighting a sticky throttle pedal and that led to me taking a few people out that I didnt mean to so for that I'm sorry. I had a race long battle with mike in I think it was my last heat and it was fantastic and he got me a peach on the last bend to get the place from me. So with the heats done I knew I would be well down the grid as a 3rd place in the heats wouldn't really help me.

 

So I was dead last on the grid....ideal I took the lead on about lap 7 and stayed there till lap 20 my tyre had gone on the back and Tom got both me and dan with a perfect shot to take the lead. I had to settle for 3rd but I was happy with that seeing as I struggled the rest of the meeting. Starting last on these gridded races is the way forward that's 2 in a row I've started last and come 3rd

 

I won't be about next week but I hope to be back in 2 weeks time.

It was good to see you back Aub. I watched the battle between you, Tom and Dan - You was unlucky to get caught but like you said it was a great timed shot by Tom. Would have made a great video.
