Pre meeting I was horribly slow, not even getting under 13.050 and I've never driven f2s before, and also never driven on this track. haha Was optimistic about it though, because i started from white, and then 3 second before my heat started they said: 'Chevy, you know you're blue!?' I didn't now it. So my expectations went down . lol First heat I was not quik and finsihed in 10th. 2nd heat was better and got 8th. Did not qualify for the final, so was in consolation, and I was going well! and about to qualify for final but then the reds caught me up. So b-final for me. Was going better and better as the night went on and finsihed 5th. In the gn I felt like I was on the same pace as others and raced towards a nice 4th place finish. Did I enjoyed it? I didnt get to see you race but these do require a different driving style & hopefully you will be back to give it another go, Barford isn't the best track to start with really. Dave488 Posted July 31, 2012 Report Share Posted July 31, 2012 cheers for the meeting drumb,well done dan on top scoring seemed to mess the heats up all on my own last night and ended up facing the wrong way no one elses fault just my bad driving lol but was pleased to get enough points to be in final but wasnt holding out much hope for a good result, but all came good in the end think i have only scored points in 1 final this year before this 1 so was over the moon with a win, seemed to have all the good luck on my side and everyone else seemed to crash at the rite time and get going again before i met them, hope thats not all my luck used up in 1 go lol, could see dan getting closer and closer but managed to hold him off long enough gn was quite boring no one seemed to crash infront of me at all was hoping for a big pile up but will take 9th and for once i went to bed on a monday happy lol, bet that wont last Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
