WD Dan, took advantage of us all battering each other at the front and drove a great race, a worthy champion.

I think a thanks should also goto Hooty for stepping in and organising the GN's amongst all the chaos.

Ah it wasn't just me Allan, I was just the voice in the server. You have Drumb, Grasser, Robin and TomD to also thank for that.

WD Danskin!

wd Danskin fairhurst. cant argue with that drive mate.

rough old night for me, some very hard racing.

felt very sorry for Dave and Drumb who were clearly very peeved with the usual meeting spoilers.

After all the hard work they've put in you would think that some people would be a bit more respectful.

I reckon the disciplinary proceedure should be toughened up personally. drop the suspended sentence rubbish from now on and go straight for bans.

If that dont work then introduce a fine of a few quid for every ban, with the ban only being lifted after the time has expired and they have paid the fine via paypal.

might lose a few drivers in the long run, but i would rather race against 20 respectful drivers every week than a field of 30+ with a handful of idiots that ruin it for others. Perhaps the fine money should be paid to admin for all their work?

Great idea Nezza. Should pay for admin's yearly fees.......

Looking like both F1 and F2 will be getting a big shake up - I have spent about 3 hours watching replays this week so far - definately a disgrace..

ok once again a big well done to dan on winning the wf was some drive from the back out of a maximum 100 points he gets 91 not bad for a nights work

as for me i know what happened may have been awkward for some and should not have been done by a admin but i will not say sorry for it thats for sure, i have from today decided to call it a day with admin, i may still do the odd meeting this year (after a ban of course) but as any admin role for me thats it

i think there is a few who need to sit back and look at themselves and realise what the admin teams do (its not just a monday/tuesday/ wednesday etc night for them) they all have lifes and this is just something they do for free in the own time, without them where would we all be? respect is a word that gets used alot on here lately and you can see why, there is none from anyone these days, some say its the kids fault some say its the old heat drivers fault, it isnt either in particular its just a odd few who dont think and ruin it for others

there is a few people in f2s that have that respect for others and you can have some awesome races with them unfortunatly looking at the nat points table you can probs count those drivers without having to get your toes out (im not saying im a saint far from it but i have had many moments where i want to do this do that but have stopped before it happens) i have met some great mates through f2s on here and that is the 1 thing i will take as good from my time on admin

i wish the admin team (whoever that maybe) all the best and i hope the drivers treat them how they deserve to be treated they have to be harsh sometimes but so be it

this isnt a mav (i quit) thread but it is me saying goodbye from a admin role and saying thankyou for the support i had from most people mostly it was great fun and i enjoyed it

i will say 1 thing more and that is even tho i refuse to say sorry here,i have always thought sometimes you need to realise that that is all it would take in chat after a collision to diffuse a situation that may get out of hand in the next race if you dont say sorry then to me it was done on purpose, or once again its just a lack of respect and why wouldnt the other person then get "revenge"?

but once again as i started this thread by saying well done danskin after all this is waht this thread should really be about not what else did or didnt happen, triple world champion sounds pretty good doesnt it :)

agree with the bans need to be tougher , by the time a driver gets banned you could be 4 weeks into racing , liking the ban pay off vie paypal that we sort it :)

WD Dan, for all your championships.

Yet again, sorry admins for my problems, I really don't know what happened to cause either the crash or repeated problems signing in to further heats. I was really looking forward to the Barford meeting, it's a track I actually like, so it was quite annoying for me not to race.

As for the bad manners of other drivers following incidents, and even someone at the start of the night's racing, I know adrenalin can lead to being quite heated, but I have to agree with admins about the attitude. It's only a game at the end of it all, and it's a hobby for the admins, not a full time job. For me, Dave, you do a wonderful job along with Drumb and the others that I appreciate, and I can see at times what a thankless task it is when it would be easier just to race like everyone else. I grew up learning that respect costs nothing, but it seems it does cost some people too much. Maybe bans are the answer, fines are an idea, but I wonder about the legal position for the site. I do agree that if fines are raised and paid for that they should go towards admins yearly fees.

Good luck Dave with your future, and I'll see you in the racing.

Big Andy

I don't think that the Admins want or need paying with cash but just a bit of respect. But if fines did ever happen, what about giving the proceeds to charity.

Thanks for all your work in the past Dave, and I know that UKDirt has lost an admin that will take a lot of replacing!
