thanks for the meeting wasnt expecting to get any points 2nite but i managed 15 points but its not very easy track to race on and I was really struggling at times. whites and yellows race I just couldn't get going just wasn't going rite. my first heat I got a good 4th, outside the top 10 in my 2nd heat and a decent 6th in my 3rd heat. final is same old story with me just don't get anywhere and in the gn with about 3 to go while I was in 4th danskin kept battling with me, which I thought to myself don't mess it up or I won't finish in the top 5, then as I was going round the bend dan attack me side on and it made my car lose control and jumping because of the force and was hoping please don't do owt daft so i dont ended losing positions and managed to get 5th

cheers for that BigAl. since I started i could only do ok on tarmac meetings, but i just couldn't cope racing on shale, which i was just using a cheap wheel to start off which wasn't very good then i didn't realise i need to use a wheel with force feed back until someone told me to get a force feed back Logitech g27 and I got help with the Logitech profiler steering wheel settings and I'm gone a lot better on shale than I did when I first started and I'm enjoying it more now.

another top meeting admins! thanks again!

Bit of a mixed meeting for myself, after practice and the w&y race i felt i could come away with a decent points haul but lady luck just didn't seem to be on my side when i was going well!

Certainly enjoyed the challenge of starting from yellow though!

roll on next week

Hi all,

Thanks Al - much appreciated! Sorry that you didn't make it last night.

First wins for me which pleased me cos I didn't think I'd ever manage it and certainly not on this polo mint sized shale Mildo. Only been there once, too - probably around 1990, and didn't remember it being that small. I'm sure my missus will have something to say about remembering the size of things but that's another matter!

Typical meeting for me - if I got slightly clear where I could settle and not think about driving then I managed to do alright. Otherwise, poor finishes.

I now know I much prefer shale over tar and I'm starting to get the hang of what to tweak for the loose stuff although on some tracks it's still a head-scratcher. Still, can't expect to be that consistent in my first season.

Well done to Kris on his win and Ricky who I think is very pleased with his improving shale form! Also to all those who won and scored highly!

Commiserations to Lloydy but I'm sure you'll get the hang of starting a bit further back in no time.

Thanks for a great meeting last night, too - stewarding was excellent and the standard of driving very good!

Not sure if I'm looking forward to Buxton - seems a bit tricky to me!
