Awesome meeting tonight, really enjoyed it however its fair to say it was a bloody stressful one!

Big thanks to Dan, Stumps and co for the meeting... Also a huge thanks to everyone else who makes the F1s happen both behind the scenes and the RMs :king:

I'm quite literally over the moon, thought I was lucky to get away so easy thanks to Fake Wardy's cockup!

I've had seconds in World Finals, I've come from the back of the pack to take podium is huge races, however I have never ever taken a championship win in the F1s... So this title means a lot to me, I can finally say I have won a major in each mod, one of my main ambitions over the past few years.

I just feel rather sorry for LeeK, as my two stunning cars need a new roof...

Thanks a lot!

Well done Wardieee on the new roof an well done to Tom on topping the points

A big thanks to dan FT Stumpy and all who helped.

Onto the racing an to be fair for a skegvegas meeting I enjoyed it. Apart from the normal flat out hits the racing was good, the new guys put on a good display again

So we are off to Mildy next week, I will dig out my steel toecap pants for that :coffee:

One of the best f1 meetings I've done!

Didn't manage to win a heat after a few months off, but by the last heat was finally back in the swing of things! Well done Wardieee on winning the British, truly deserved! After last night, I'm hooked again, see you next week!

Congrats to Wardieee for taking that F1 British Championship

My evening seemed to run along last years lines, so at least I am consistent!

Three rubbish races, two decent races, towards the back of the grid, drop to the back, stayed out of trouble, worked my way up to top ten, then get dumped out of the race, finished 14th - Disappointed!

It would be nice to get some good fortune to actually finish in the top ten when I manage to get there, but that's racing!

Not watched any of the replays as yet, so cannot comment on things as I usually do, but two things stood out.

1) My fourth heat - The start was diabolical! Blues predicted the start so sped up right to my bumper, the whites virtually stopped as the "Go" didn't come, so when we were fully bunched and on the home straight the "Go" was given. Should have been restarted :banghead2: This annoyed me badly and I ended up taking it out on Walker #363 during the race which I am truly sorry for.

2) After being wronged by Wardieee last week (No apology received btw!), I did for a brief second think of righting that wrong in the British. Obviously I didn't, so Congratulations Wardieee, first of many this season I feel.

PS : Harold #599, work with the rest of the yellows, be patient in your driving then results will come your way!

You push too hard and end up going into the bends deeper and deeper losing time and allowing the others to catch up.

Your a good driver, but just have to be more relaxed around other cars. Shame you didn't make the British tho.

I am sorry for that i got a text (from a babe) and got distracted looking at it on my phone,i looked up and in a state of panic hit enter to start and you are probably right i should have restarted it but with the delays to first two heats i made a snap decision to let it go.So sorry to everyone we all make mistakes i hold my hand up that was all my fault. Mav you have full permission to kick my crutches away make me tumble to the ground like a walrus from a diving board

really pleased with the way it went was not quick bearly got into the 12s unlike the majority but it seemed to be just good enough to secure a nice haul of points yellow is for sure my rightful place on the grid

chuffed to get a win too topped of a really good night of racing

congrats to wardieee on a blistering pace to win and lap up to 6th place i think the late arrival to the meeting must have helped

thanks admins

WD WARDIEEEEE on winning the British and TOMD on top point scoring :appl:

Said in TS if either of you two got away in the British it would be game over bar some disaster.

Really enjoyed the meeting, yes I just said I enjoyed tarmac :o, thought the racing overall was really good with hard but fair racing through out.

Think that's my best points haul on tarmac for a while so hopefully a sign of things to come.

Cheers for meeting admins

As I said by pm thank you for the apology which I appreciate.

Regarding the start, I tried to keep the grade gap but it didn't help that I was getting pushed from behind by an overeager Dutch driver. Regarding the meeting though I quite enjoyed it and wasn't really expecting to do well as I haven't raced for a while due to other commitments but a heat win and 9th in the British I was happy with considering I was dead last after turn 1.
