HGR#777 Posted August 8, 2016 Report Share Posted August 8, 2016 (edited) Great meeting tonight and the icing on the cake came when Raymond made his statement about Louis! Heat 1; Awful start but had a lonely race to 10th Heat 2; A snail slow starting from Dave Lane caught me out and I drove straight over the top of him, game over Final; A track blockage by Beckett in the first few laps dropped me back to 13th place but a few spins put me into 11th. With 15 to go i realized the chase we on for 9th place. I was however about 2 seconds back Paul and Ryan. With 5 to go they started scrapping and enabled me to catch up and was 0.5 behind them with 1 to go. Then came my first ever successful UKDirt last bender shutting Paul into Ryan and me to take 9th! GN; good race was going to be 7th but Raymond was facing backwards down the back straight on the last lap, and off came my wheel came over but who cares when your trying as best you can to not be upgraded to blue next month Awsome racing, cya tomorrow!
