DanSkin Posted November 16, 2017 Author Report Posted November 16, 2017 Congratulations to Jamie for winning the Shootout, a pretty dominant victory with 5 of a possible 6 final wins! At the start of the night I knew it was still do-able... I also knew I had my work cut out after missing a round last month, but it was still possible. Belle Vue is not a favourite track of mine, and that we were pretty even through the heats was a relief. As expected it would come down to the Final - if I could take the win (or massively outscore Jamie) it would be all to play for in the GN. In the end Jamie took his opportunity and absolutely destroyed me on last bend of the final to secure the series win, only narrowly missing out on making it 6 from 6 final wins in the process!
Wardieee Posted November 16, 2017 Report Posted November 16, 2017 Well I still cant believe I've managed to do it and shocked is an understatement. I didn't quite get my 6 in 6 and well the last bend didn't exactly go to plan but all in all its been a superb championship and considering this is the first ever shootout I've taken part in, i'm thrilled. Beating Dan is never an easy task and it really has taken years for me to even be able to challenge him. I know I got a little bit of luck at Coventry, but even if he had raced I think its fair to say the 5 in 5 would of helped to hold him back (with a few less handicaps). The racing throughout the series has been superb, just a shame tonight never really got going between myself and Dan in the racing department... There was always someone lurking. Would of been nice to really go toe to toe, or maybe even a little more interesting if he had managed to get away from Barker... however given the chance I had to wrap it up, not the way I wanted to win admittedly. Thanks to everyone for racing, thanks Dan and Stumps for the meeting! See you all in the very near future!
Stumpy Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 in my book if u move over ur giving ur place away I don't expect then to me launched into row x.this is not 1st time uve done it this year to me so u had payback. That is the lowest cowardly move up there with accelerating in to the fence and wall riding out to miss a hit.Wait a second you do both on a regular basis. If it was up to me Ginger would not be banned because TomD 100 deserved to lose a win for his cowardly driving. In the same situation i probably done the same as Ginger unfortunately breaking the rules for revenge as good as it feels and as much as it is deserved it will still be a ban for Ginger. Cut out the scumbag way of driving Tomd100. You are already targeted by people because you can't be trusted. Any driver knows if they catch you they have put you into the fence because you can't be overtaken cleanly because you will just follow them in at every opportunity.
Ginger482 Posted November 17, 2017 Report Posted November 17, 2017 I have nps with a ban nor do I regret wot I done.wd spike wardie n barker .was cracking nite see ya in 2018 ps cheers 4 the private pm tom100
