Kruiz 136 Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 I have made a skin called car17.tex. It should be green blue and silver. But it comes up all messed up and coloured black and white which if straightened out would look like Matt kenseth's number 17 Nascar. How do i resolve this problem?
Rikard Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 Make sure that in the drivers table that the "chasis" part is correct, make sure theres no extra spaces or characters as this can mess up a skin, maby this will work?
Kruiz 136 Posted February 24, 2006 Author Report Posted February 24, 2006 No thats not it. I've checked all that. It must be a file or something missing from either ukdirtf1 or nascar heat or there is a file there isn't supposed to be because for some my car is number 17 and the car that is messed up on the chassis is the nascar number 17.
JohnMid Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 (edited) Do you have any other mods installed? Try making/copying a tex file as car17.tex in another mod and edit the drivers.txt accordingly- see if car17 gets hijacked by the nascar again. Posting your full drivers.txt contents would be useful also. Edited February 27, 2006 by JohnMid
Kruiz 136 Posted February 27, 2006 Author Report Posted February 27, 2006 I think it is just this mod that has the problem. I tried ukdirtf2 and that was fine. drivers text: (only three drivers in it) table Driver number 17 name Craig Fortune chassis db515 rank 4 race_image 100 body_style ccar end table Driver number 136 name Kyle Taylor chassis briscans rank 100 race_image 100 body_style ccar end table Driver number 135 name Matt Taylor chassis faldings rank 4 race_image 100 body_style ccar end end
JohnMid Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 does it work if you use a different number (try 617 for example?)
Kruiz 136 Posted February 28, 2006 Author Report Posted February 28, 2006 Yes it only effects the car as 17. At the moment i'm using the car as 917 and that works.
