With only 16 cars we will be running an all-in meeting tonight. Please be in chat for 19:55 for an 20:00 start.
-
My site is now completely up to date including last Thursday's meetings for all those who enjoy looking at all the stats etc. I've included all the action shots posted by Tosh & Walker so thanks guys, they really do enhance the meeting results pages. The fixtures are now correct as I made a mistake with removing the Belle Vue fixture on 6th August and all the remaining fixtures moved up a week doh! Anyway they are now correct. I must also say thanks to Johno for posting the points tables after each meeting using a spreadsheet created by LeeK (I think) so thanks to him aswell - I'm unable to update my site on a regular basis.

All of these grade changes are detailed in the newsletter released earlier this week but I'm posting these here in case anyone missed them. Up to Superstar 112 - An incredible start to the new season for TomD as he leads the National Points chart. The first grading period saw the first ever UKDirt F1 double header at Sheffield and Belle Vue and TomD won both meeting finals and even top scored at Belle Vue. All of this points to an upgrade to superstar. 531 - Lee made a good start to the season by winning the first final at Buxton and top scoring at the meeting. This final turned out to be his one and only win during the grading period, however he managed to finish on the podium a further seven times. Up to Red 16 - An average points haul of 24.80 points per meeting means an upgrade to red for JK. He has four heat wins to his name, his only wins during the grading period, and also top scored at the Ipswich meeting. 216 - speedtech is another driver with a great average of 23.50 points per meeting; with these being achieved over only four out of the five meetings during the grading period. His shale average of 28 is far better than his tarmac average of 19. He has a heat and GN win to his name. Down to Red 290 - Dazza has struggled this season; having scored an average of 26.71 points per meeting from 21 meetings (at superstar) last season, he has only scored 11.50 points per meeting from his four appearances this season. He hasn't won a race this season and only finished on the podium once. Maybe a downgrade to red will kick-start his season. Up to Blue 151 - An impressive average of 20.40 from his yellow grade, one race win and a further five podium finishes results in an upgrade to blue. His form appears to be better on tarmac than shale which bodes well for the upcoming UK Open Championship at Skegness. 363 - Here is a driver with a massive differential between the two surfaces. He has an average points per meeting score of 23.67 on tarmac but only a mere 2.50 points per meeting on shale. His two race wins (a heat and a Grand Final) both came on tarmac. 561 - 44 points scored at Sheffield, top scoring at the meeting, from white grade resulted in an immediate upgrade to yellow. From there he scored an average of 9.33 points per meeting over his three meetings and will now support a blue roof for the next grading period. Down to Blue 3 - Despite winning two heats and having an average of 19.20 points per meeting from red grade, Johno now finds himself back down to blue grade where he had a lot of success towards the end of last season (scoring 24.80 points per meeting from five appearances). That success saw him get upgraded at the start of this season so he may find the same thing happen at the end of this next grading period. 8 - Tosh spent the vast majority of last season at red grade before dropping to blue for the final grading period, scoring an impressive 30.67 points per meeting. This meant that he started this season at red grade and by his standards has had a poor start scoring only 12.25 points per meeting. He has however won two races (a heat and a grand national). A drop to blue will help kick-start his season. 288 - Ironmac has had a disastrous start to his 2009 campaign. His only decent meeting was Ipswich where he scored 22 points, however in his other four outings he never scored more than four points at any meeting. All this means he will be starting at blue grade for the next grading period. Down to Yellow 315 - Mike has only score an average of 8.80 points per meeting from his five meetings with only three podium finishes to his name (no race wins). He is yet another driver to struggle on shale with an average of 1.50 points per meeting whereas his tarmac average is 13.67 points per meeting. 300 - Matty also seems to be struggling from his blue grade start, however his shale form is much better than his tarmac form. He's scored 10.00 points per meeting on shale and only 2.67 on tarmac. Maybe a drop to yellow grade might help him relinquish his top spot in the hardest triers chart. He has made 33 appearances, racing 129 times without winning a single race. 488 - No race wins, not even a podium finish for Dave during this grading period. Only 19 points scored from his three appearances results in a drop to yellow grade for the upcoming grading period. Down to White 11 - Five meetings into the new season and chevy has only managed to score points at one meeting (Bradford tarmac). This means he will be able to start every race from white for the next grading period. Of his 20 races he has finished in the top 10 twice (both 8th places) and in 11th place five times, each time just missing out on scoring some points. He failed to finish six races. These grades take effect from Wednesday 15th April. The grading period will finish after the Birmingham meeting on 30th April.
