  1. To cheer up the long dark nights [attachmentid=4597]
  2. Hi all... My new skin - needs a bit of tweaking, but more or less done... Let me know your thoughts (about the car - I really don't want to know the inner workings of Crasher's head ). [attachmentid=4594] [attachmentid=4595] [attachmentid=4596]
  3. Finally got my new PC up and running... My pic from the WF practice day... [attachmentid=4150]
  4. Hope everything turns out ok... Get well soon Dave.
  5. Get 'em while they're hot! Initial orders sent out tomorrow or over the weekend. I will be delivering right up to Christmas, but please be aware that you will be relying on Royal Mail 1st Class post - so the earlier the better... Get someone the whole set for Chrimbo!
  6. World Motorsports just trailed it in their intro... On Sky Sports Xtra now!!!
  7. For anyone not aware yet, the first two DVDs are now available. Click here and click on 'DETAILS' for... erm... details! More to come at the end of the month...
  8. Bad news... But Steve Rees has just updated that another shale track has offered to run the meeting on 19th November, subject to BriSCA approval...
  9. Something needs to be done with the shale tracks to make them more... erm... shaley I know there have been attempts in the past to alter physics in individual mods' cars (last winter's fwj shale F1), but it seems to me that a quicker fix would be to simply alter the grip levels of certain tracks - Kings Lynn being the prime example - to make it less like brown tarmac. Mildenhall should be the model for this. Trying to keep the back end under control gives it a feel of a proper shale track. The smoothness of the tracks is another area which could help get the feel of shale - see Stoke and Nelson - but I suspect that this is not as simple a fix as the grip levels...
  10. See here for details of the first DVD which should be ready to ship the first week of November. You can contact me through that site to let me know you are interested...
  11. @ Rigg When I started watching at Belle Vue Hyde Road, the wooden stands had already been built, honest. No Al... those 'wooden stands' were trees
  12. Cheers all Not at Skeggy But much alcohol consumed anyway
  13. Hi Korizin... You volunteering to have a go mate? Maybe we could get away with half the size, centred with some kind of static border Just had a thought... could maybe come up with some 'UKTV Dirt' branding too
  14. I thought a mix would be good too... BL would be good for the first one, considering how old this coverage is... Mind you, it's not that old... Big Al will remember all the tracks when 'it were all field around there'
  15. Hi all Tomorrow I will be picking up almost all of the Screensport F1 and F2 coverage from 85 / 86 / 87 on video. The plan is to transfer this to DVD over the next year or so - first one in two weeks hopefully! I would like to include some promo stuff for UK Dirt on the DVDs when I make them available. I thought it would be good to have a good quality video of a full race on each DVD. F1s, F2s and BLs would suit the audience I guess... Anyone able to put anything like this together? It would have to be in a decent full screen quality to be viewed on a tv... There's a free DVD in it for anyone who can do this Cheers
  16. Thanks Crasher and Pedz. It was working ok earlier last night. I'll try to sort it out tonight....
  17. From the 'Your Desktop' thread earlier their were a few requests for the rest of the sequence of photos to be posted. For those who haven't read it, I managed to catch some great shots of the roll at the NIR World Masters meeting - all from the home straight stand! I've uploaded them to my webspace to test my Gallery - I'm hoping to get a lot more photos up over the next few weeks. The pictures aren't of the best quality - probably no good for printing, but if anyone wants the original sized files, just send me a pm. Good enough to get an idea though. I've included a number of different crops of each photo too. Let me know it's working ok, and what you think... http://stox.never-enough.co.uk/photos/thumbnails.php?album=1
  18. Thanks. I'll see what I can do tonight when I'm back at home. Anyone noticed the marshall chatting away on his mobile? Edit: Crasher... Already posted 2 of them on Stoxnet http://forum.stoxnet.com/index.php?showtop...hl=carlos&st=20
  19. My current desktop... caught by myself from the home straight stand! Very lucky shot... and part of a sequence of four. [attachmentid=3385]
  20. Got my shirt and wore it on WF day! Got spotted by Mickeymoo and someone else who didn't introduce themselves before it got too bloody cold just for a tshirt... Excellent quality tshirt... buy one everyone! You won't regret it! (Can I have my fiver now Chevy? )
  21. Just bought DTRSC from my local Sainsbury's 'corner shop' for 50p!!! They only had one, so I don't know if it's worth trying if you have one near you... Scrapman - if you're out there - you still got the zip file with all the add ons in it (mentioned in an old thread)... or anyone? Not got MSN, so can you email it to me or put in on the download manager here?
  22. I've been using Petrol Direct for a while now, and I must say that the 50 RON works just fine in my Anglia... Never had a problem with them at all!
