your cards the problem mav, radeon 9000's were good for pac man and space invaders, a new card will do you wonders m8 the rest of your pc parts are good enough its a x4 agp card half the speed of the decent x8 versions cards, get something like drum suggested or an 6600gt, 6800gt it all really depends how much and how good you want your graphics its a bummer having to dish out cash for an upgrade m8 but it has to be done, its like trying to play ps3 games on a ps2

the night time effects does make it harder on your pc with the added lights shades reflections etc, post up your pc specs mav your machine might not be running how it should, take a screen shot whilst runningcpuz so we can see all your settings, i think you said you only have 512 of ram another 512 stick would work wonders m8, most peoples graphics cards have 512mb of ram never mind there pc , list up your graphics card model aswell mav l

have you checked the cpu or vga temps ? what spec components are you using ?

they are useless on that server(the hosts), i'm going to get another one sorted in the next week

seems strange to remove something which will only benifit ukdirt......

in view of testing towards helping the mod development, and organising the 2008 season here at UK Dirt (all being well...). drums leauge is set up for the development of rfactor f1's , not to compete with the ukdirt league..... the beta's out now and needs testing now not months later when the final version is due/will be out, nothing was being organised on here so a testing league was made else where to fill the gap till uk dirt started looks more like spat out dummys for removing the post this side of the fence

Im glad you quickly posted that reply after the crap i read in your first post.. Been on the game once was expecting to get blown away by it i wasnt... time will tell i spose.. i think calling the post crap is immature , it probably has some truth to it , but finding somebody to admit it , is another thing. this is exactly why i said forget it , maybe you can't read to good? i think your 1st post pretty much somes it up paulp, its a harder game to drive with it being a more realistic simulation aub didn't like rfactor when it 1st came out as he was off the pace, but hes turned that around now hes got the hang of it, it only takes a bit of practice and obvously a wheel does help to get on the pace i hope more people give it a chance till they get used to it as i gaurentee you'll start to enjoy it more than heat
