onboard with me divx version going up soon
-
@kruiz the cars slide pretty good for me, maybe a lack of force feedback makes it feel like gliding if using no ff or a pad thats more down to driver error, brake harder/sooner for the corner then you wont spin and struggle for grip on the way out the swingman view can be adjusted closer or further out m8 if you don't have a steering wheel in pedals and use a game pad you will spin very easy, you can't just floor in the bends or you will spin, throttle control control plays a big part in rfactor unlike the f1 heat version the spinging out could be solved if the steering lock could be set a tad higher, but then again it will only be of benifit if you use a wheel @ full lock it takes a good bit of practice to get into this game, don't expect to be flying after a few try's

racing AI cars is as bad as playing with yerself IMO
-
theres a bit of a diffrence with hitting ai cars to ones being driven, they seem fine to me unless you get taped on the inside whilst sliding around the bends, which could be saved if the steering lock was higher ive never once seen any mad warp like cars since ive played it, if i don't see this how someone else does beats me post up your pc specs.............
-
fancied a change from cars and bikes
-
whats your pc spec ? its more chance of your pc not being up to the scratch needed that your seeing lag
-

i'm going to pay for a dedicated server which we can use for testing meetings, it'll save all the hassle as the password will be posted up on here i'll have it sorted through the week
-
the jolt ip is the same as nascar heat one m8, if your struggling just use that 195.149.21.165, you know the pw
-
if your on trial mate you can race as you both have the password
-
its on the other site here sign in and you'll see it
-
how long did it take you to figure that out is there a special font for f1 and f2 cars that ye can't use them on each other
-
with the pad you have to have the steering lock lower, with that it means if you go in a slide you have less of a lock to counter steer meaning spin outs most of the time a pad is an on of switch there is no control in it, with a wheel you can feed the steering in more accurate controling the slide rikard i'd like to see your lap times with controler compared to someone with a wheel mate
-
whats the difference like ? sponsers are sponsers on what ever car there on

send me yer msn addy splinter y abawbag
-
looks cracking mate, are there any tracks simler to the one you've made
-
just to clear this up splinter, the guys that ive been racing with aren't in any of the lower class leagues they just enjoy playing the f1 mod your right enough if folk don't race ukdirt why fecking post here ? i was hoping we'd get some more guys joining the ukdirt site with leaving it open to public
-
theres about 4 or 5 guys who play in another server quite regular, but they havent joined ukdirt so are unable to join our passworded server is there anyway we could unlock the rfactor server to let these guys in for 'testing' purposes, atleast then we'd have a higher number of cars in the server, even a good chance they'd even join ukdirt after a taster theres still a few of us who play online regular most nights
-
it dosn't sound like the guy in the shop has much a clue either if he thinks a ernmax 400w psu is going to run a 88gtx
-
don't get the pentium dual core there crap, there an older slower version of the core2 duo for an extra 85 quid theres no chance hes goning to give you a 8800gtx the cards them selves are 400 quid why not buy the bits online from the likes of www.komplett.co.uk and build your own.... bundle kit, Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Mainboard, 4096MB, PCI-Express -350 quid Point of View GeForce 8800GTS 320MB,DDR3 PCI-Express- 192 quid OCZ Technology Powersupply ATX/EPS 600W ,120mm Fan, SATA, 4/8pin CPU, 20/24pin - 60 quid sata2 drives are 30-40 quid thats around 650 quid and would run most games full blast @ 1600x1200
