Top notch meeting again tonight, some great close battles with, mike, danskin, johno and especially MoR, with whom i forgave last week lol

and a quick mention to southys driving whilst being lapped- well done

I'm sorry to say it, but with the league struggling numbers wise, I can't help but feel bit more effort needs to be made to get people booked in!

 

I participated in some UKDirt F1 and F2 meetings.

In my opinion racing was undisciplined and without any respect to other drivers (especially newcomers). Although I could get some good points but it were not good meetings.

Sorry that I have to say but I rather spend my time with my wife or watch TV or racing in another league instead of getting bad mood.

Don´t know if this racing style is a special UKDirt problem ?

Whether it also looks at other mods or meetings I do not know so please do not get me wrong.

I would like to be convinced of the contrary and take part on more meetings in future when time allows.

your sounding a tad harsh there i think peppi. the racing has always been hard on newcomers to the leugue, whilst your new to the scene, other racers dont know or understand how you race, this isnt your fault its just it takes time for the people around you to adopt to your driving and for you to adopt to theirs.

most that have raced in ukdirt for a few years, do all know how we all like to race each otheri think. it was difficult for me when i started the league back in 2006, bumpers were flying, i dnf,d a few good times to the result of this till i understood what was going on with others and earnt the respect, got the good old fencing for no reason that sort of thing.

its your own personal style if you enjoy it or not, make it your own etc. you seem to go ok in saloons, i dont know about f1s or 2s. their different styles of driving for each mod. maybe you learn this and stick with it.

on the plus side i thought kings lynn was majestic last night, what a great nights racing even although MoR spun me 3 times. but theres no grudges hold MoR , thats pure and simple stockcars last night mistakes happen and you know when its meant or not so ill let you off lol.

i would have liked the tnt races to be at night and this maybe sorted for future meetings on the server side. we know kev is on holiday so no complaints on the new guys filling in.

i think everyone will agree also have to add the GN, where mav jnr was parked at turns 3&4, and the big train trying to pocket shot each car into the parked one lmao. that was mental

these races at the end are brilliant and add that relaxed but more racing feel to the night. roll on more tnt races.

Cheers for meet James, I had a nightmare, first time on shale, turned up 2 mins before heat 1 without a setup and a wheel that wasnt really playing ball due to me rushing around. Heat 2 i turned the ffb up and didnt know realfeel is poo on shale so fought that. Heat 3 i was having fun as i'd turned FFB down. Then CHEERS TOSH! came to the rescue and told me about real feel and correct ffb settings, which i lowered to suit me and it went ok. Turned the FFB down more for the rest and went well until the D4C when i accidently posted Numnuts and gave BFD a huge headon as i thought he'd finished!

 

Not great, so 16 points is brill and i had a class race with no setup Leek in the final!

 

Lol, i had finished, i tried a massive suicidal lunge on Tosh and kinda got it wrong hehe, hit the tyre wrecked the suspension and spun out lol.

 

Ps if anybody has the video of the DFC watch the last lap for a laugh at my expense.

and BFD wasnt it a last lap lunge on pedz you got wrong, as i passed pedz for the 1st place to the line. i was behind you when you hit the tyre, it was fecking hillairous.

great meeting btw, them cars are excellant on shale as well as tar.

Best nights racing for a while. high level of consistancy though out the night. i had some great battles tonight with leek, harmen, dazza to name a few and also mike, quality meeting.

start/my computer/c:drive/programme files/rfactor/user data/ your folder with name on it...click to go inside from there it will have a folder named settings. copy paste the set up into the correct named folder

enjoying the saloons m8, racing them for a change.

here is all of my f2 set ups for most or all tracks. these are not made up, as they have the lap time set on the name of the set up.

you will just have to alter the axle lead and what diff to use. pad users alter the lock. everyone should be able to use these no problem ie whites yellows etc.
