i've done a skin hope you're happy with it i think you meant the BWS 3 wheeler chaos, not tnb i've included the tex file in the zip, and the full drivers txt for the BWS 3 wheeler skinpack, including the new granIs. i haven't uploaded the whole skinpack because its a waste of forum webspace. just put the tex file in the skinpack folder and replace the drivers txt file with the new one in the zip. i know the skin is a bit pixelated, but its the limitation of the 512x512 tga file. i haven't tested it in the game, so tell me if it works! cheers pazza Braderz.zip

it has certainly been wintry in the forest of dean recently. i went to the wyedean rally today and it was freezing we made a massive snow-woman, who's breasts were so big, she was top heavy and collapsed before i got the chance to take a piccy! loadsa snow. very very cold. loadsa abandoned cars on the way from people who gave up last night. we did plenty of wheel-spinning which was fun.

sorry its a bit late - i was having my tea (very late) i've attached the textures.bat file its what i used (don't know where i got it from) just download it into any folder put the tga in that folder (uncompressed 24bit) run the batch textures file and it gives you the car434.tga.tex, which you just need to rename to car434.tex post up here if it doesn't work car434.zip tga_to_tex.zip

yeh i'll do it just post up your tga file

does anyone know how to add a driver or change the default wheels? (fbf going to teach me damage) cheers pazza
-
add that to the list!
-
wahooooooooooooooooooo! got it mapped & in the game only things to do now are: - add damage - shorten the wheelbase slightly - change the default wheels then i think its done!
-
i did that, selecting the middle of the 3 options, but it re-arranged all the mapping i selected the drivers side and attached it to the passenger side, but both sides became incorrectly mapped why did i not get the same results as you? cheers pazza
-
i'll give that a go sparky cheers that's top notch Nick! how did you manage to make the model all one object without losing the mapping? i can't expect you to merge it all everytime i make a model in the future! so far i've go it in the game, but its just plain red, with no mapping, so i'm using sparky's suggestion now

i think it might be a problem with the 3ds model because half way through production, it worked fine, but after adding bits like bonnet bolts, it stopped working in the game. any help much appreciated to pass the last hurdle! pazza

i'm satisfied that i've finished the model so go to my website www.pazza.cjb.net and go to the downloads page. it should work, tell me if it doesn't. there's the psd and 3ds, so you can paint a skin and render, but i'm having trouble getting it in the game, without getting errors in heat. could someone please either help me to make the .car file, or attempt to make it themselves using the 3ds file? cheers & enjoy pazza

it'll probably be a while, coz i haven't got it in the game yet! (weeks/a couple of months maybe) rodder, i just tried that, but it still doesn't work . do you think assembling it in the GROUP menu will do the job (ie. it'll work in the game)? coz that's the only thing so far that keeps the mapping.
-
i know the skin isn't brilliant, but i've managed to map it using rodder's method of detaching the bits. i then assemble it back together in the GROUP menu. this keeps the mapping, but i think it might be why it won't work in Nascar Heat (crashes on loading). i've tried attaching it all back together but this messes up the mapping how do i put it all back together without messing the mapping?
