i've met another problem already! i've sliced the side face on three planes and collapsed bits where there are many verts however, when i try to move the slices outwards to add roundness, the triangular faces stick out. is this supposed to happen? at the back of the model you can see it looks particularly bad any help much appreciated

i've met a problem. after slicing on two planes, when collapsing the verts the shape of the model chnages and looks like its crumpled. any ideas about how to collapse without getting this problem?

btw i'm currently trying to model a BMW E30 3 series 2dr. it's my first attempt and its a slow process. "pictures for all you modellers"! - i'm a modeller now

btw, i can't get carma II to work on XP. i tried the patch but didn't work. i think you've got the same problem as i had

cheers erik btw that 8 spoke one is a weller wheel, which i saw on a new zealand ford zaunus at a classic car show(looks like a tina mk3) if any of the wheel pics aren't on the centre of the tyre of the tga, just ask me to redo them coz they'll look rubbish if they're off-centre. i can't tell if they're off-centre until they're spinning!

how did you get damage for the granada? when i download it from nickM's website there are no damage layers the first render is great!

i'm looking into rendering but 3ds max is too expensive and the trial's expired. any1 got any ideas about a free rendering program? i've heard Z modeller is a free modelling program but cannot do renders... any help much appreciated pazza

i haven't got a car yet, but my dad's got a pug 405 est auto *snore* he's also got a pug 309 auto 1.6 which is lush and a future classic i can see him restoring a classic quite soon coz he was restoring an MG magnette farina until me an my bro came along! i'm in the reliant owners club and my first car will be a robin!! i'm not joking either. heres the lush 309 (and some computer editting for the M3 alloys!)

i think i've found the problem! i've scanned all of the C drive and i cannot find the heat.bin file! where is it supposed to go? cheers pazza
