  2. Disabled, it has an effect on FPS and can cause stutters so you are best off getting your setting correct manually.

  4. it may do but f1 lap times are nearly a second faster than real life so it stays the way it is F1 lap times are faster than RL everywhere, not sure it is a second most places though. That would be an intresting statistic for anyone with some spare time, but its worth noting the grip levels of the surface have a lot to do with that.

  8. Preview below. Any suggestions or spelling/grammer changes feel free to apply them. I need to add some pics but am away from early tomorrow till Monday so will post it then if nobosy has any objections The Championship The British is seen as second to only the World championship in prestige, but that does not tell the whole story. The World championship is run over a whole season, but the British is about getting it right on the and the qualifying system means the Star drivers may not get it there own way. Taking a look at the previous honour roll it is interesting to note, that only 1 world champion has gone on to also take the British (Jok 2002) and it seems to be a tale of the UK Dirt nearly men. Rebel (77) has won the championship a record 3 times, and although he added the Scottish and Gold cup titles many argue he never fulfilled his potential in big races. AndyH(148) and Parky(152) have both won the British when tipped to win the world and failed, and some argue Corny(391) is the best driver to never win a world final but he did win the British in 2005. The Venue I think Hooty(256) summed it up best on the day this circuit was released for rFactor when he said "Belle Vue a proper stock car track". It is the smallest track on this years calendar, has a post and wire fence and takes no prisoners the ultimate test and the winner come Thursday night will certainly know they have been in a dog fight. The Contenders Hutch (331) Some people will not be able to look past the World and European champion, and although he will start the night as favourite the statistics above prove this is not always the best tag to have going in to this championship. Following home Hutch last week will have hurt Dazza, and loosing his national points lead at the same time will not soften the blow at all. However the good news is he has a chance to redeem himself on Thursday, and by his own admittance he is much stronger on shale than tarmac. Leading the Belle Vue track championship and having an average 6 points better than his main rival will give him hope. The first of the 2008 nearly men will Dazza continue the trend and take home the British. Kruiz (136) If not for the enforced mid summer break, Kruiz would no doubt be making the fight for the national points a 3 way battle. Unlike Dazza, Kruiz is not quite as comfortable on shale but if he can get a slight gap in front early on having enough pace to keep it there should not be a problem. The second of the 2008 nearly men, will not want to walk away with no titles and will not let anyone else win this won easily. Marten (291) A driver who has gone from strength to strength this season proving in rFactor practice really is the key. Arguably should have won the European final but had some bad luck and after having to miss the world final he will be out to prove he has what it takes in a big race. History says Marten is not as good on shale as tarmac but in recent testing at Sheffield he was the surprise pace setter so has he found some pace in the car Matthewb(413) Matthew can be somewhat of an Enigma, fast in practice and then struggling in the race. If he can read the traffic correctly in the heats and get a good grid position for the final he will certainly be a factor. Iron is a consistent driver who races week in week out, and not many people would have a bad word to say if he walked away with a championship. Sadly I think this one could be beyond him as the pace will be very hot, and a top 5 finish is possibly the highest Iron can hope for. Leek(39) What can you say about this guy that has not already been said? Puts hours in to UK Dirt so we can race and how he finds the time to do as many meetings as he does I don't think anyone else knows. A blue grade starting position could allow him to get in the first couple of rows on the grid, and from there he will undoubtedly affect the outcome with his bumper. This could be his only chance of getting a result so I am sure he will have a fence post picked for the car in front of him on the grid. JimmyUK(259) Another driver who has gone from strength to strength this year, his shale form is patchy and an average of 13.5 at Belle Vue is not his best by far. Will probably be happy to make the final although a top 10 is possible. Sybe(315) The third driver in the top 10 of the national points who has made a considerable improvement this season, and Sybe could possibly push on and challenge for championship in 2009. This one may be beyond him though and a top 7 is a reasonable target. Mor(137) A new job has seriously restricted his racing in the past few months, however it is testament to his early season form that he still appears in the top 10 of the national points. If he is able to race, Mor is another driver who could qualify well and use the bumper to good effect early on. Selected others DB(318) Sits 4th in the Belle Vue track championship and if he is on the grid could cause a big upset. Never afraid to use the bumper and if he qualifies well will certainly shake things up. Mr Beef(286) is currently 6th in the track championship and really should make the final, although may struggle to make an impression once there. Tosh(8) averages 40 points at BelleVue so if he work allows him to take the to the grid he could be a real threat. Prediction An accurate prediction is hard to make, the tight track that always has pile ups, a grid that could be quite mixed up and some people looking for revenge from the WF all add unknown elements. I will predict 331, 290, 136, 291 will be the top 4 but I will leave you all to speculate in which order. Good Luck to everyone and may the best man win.

  13. WD hutch, I had a blue or yellow grade to win it but to do so from the back is some feat. No idea how I managed to climb back to finish third, since I was about half a lap behind everyone(Except Mor Sorry again) after turn 1 After a fantastic nights racing on Wednesday where the dual format worked well, and all drivers seemed intent on racing properly the main meeting last night was a let down for me, people just need to chill out a bit on tarmac.

I am sure you ideas will be taken in to consideration for next season guys, but it is unfair on those who have already qualified to change the format of a championship on the day it is due to be run. As a side note, as Johno has already said this has been the euro format for 3 years now and you could have requested it be changed in the "ideas" for next season thread that appears at the end of each season.     Yes there is and yes I know how to do it, however after the problems with Heat models being cracked and then changed and released I am not going to tell people how to do it. If they are desperate to find out the information is freely avaliable, and I have suggested another way to solve his problem. If that is not good enough then I am not sure what is.

    Use the rFactor car viewer much easier than importing them to max i cann't open rfactor and photoshop at the same time, so i have to exit rfactor each time i did a quick look at my paintjob. So this is not the easier way i guess. Any other suggestions? Maybe the rFactor vehicle viewer http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Vehicle%20Viewer Sure I have seen that somewhere else
