Yeah more damage would be great. I feel a bit annoyed that some people imagine we just bodged these mods together, releasing stuff as soon as we had got it working in any way. We actually spent just as much time working on the contact and damage as we did on the physics and models of the cars. There are lots of things in rfactor that we have very little or no control of, damage being one of them. Believe me when I say that me and all the other UKSOM members have spent many hours trying to think of a way to stop the idiots that can't drive without using the bumper every bend!

Fun meeting in my opinion. Driving standards were good overall too, except for a couple of people who still race with the 'Oh someone over took me, I must hit them next corner' attitude.

Only thing I can suggest without looking at your setup is to check the diff preload isnt all the way up.

well the only other reason for that error is you havn't installed the track correctly.

I would say that you need to run rFactor config and check you are running the game in DX9 mode. Some tracks won't run correctly in DX7 or 8.

You will have to delete the track folders that dont work and reinstall them. Sounds like something has gone corrupt.

i'm not blaming you at all LeeK and appreciate your efforts in trying to sort out the problems. But if you had a decent provider then maybe you wouldnt need to spent half your life trying to resolve problems

UKDIRT needs to look seriously at their server providers NOW. Not next week, not after you've had a vote on it, Seems like you're paying over the odds for a load of poop. Second week in a row that they have let us down. Once the meeting was on a proper server it ran really well and I had a good nights fair racing. Thanks Dave
