Running in 2000 mode means I get booted with error message every time. Just about give up with it. Ranny

Can all Admin and drivers give their ideas and opinions on this error which seems to be new this season. It only seems to happen in jolt, not in private servers but it seems to be affecting more and more drivers. I know I'm reluctant to race at moment because I don't know if I will be discoed. Always happens after chat whilst jolt is configuring. I have tried 95 compatability and that booted me every time. Cheers Ranny

I've got a new Pc, old 1 is set up in another room. I've got a 'disgo' memory stick, thought I'd just transfer data through it as I needed it. The problem I've got is on old Pc now it says it can't create the file/folder I'm trying to copy. All my ukdirt setups are on old Pc so got a bit of a prob. Its a wanadoo usb modem and is working on my old computer at the moment. My old comp is an athlon 1400 (Real), 512mb ram, geforce 3 graphics. My new ish comp is an athlon 3200, 1024mb ddr400 ram and a 256mb geforce 5600 graphics. Both are running windows XP. I can get another copy of windows xp (legally lol), so I suppose it worth re-formatting and trying again but I don't feel very confident about it. A few weeks ago my broad band connection stopped connecting. Brought my old pc back from work and it connected straight away. Formatted my new pc and lo and behold get same problem. Broad band provider reckons its a corrupt file on my windows disc, is this likely?. It has come to Admin's attention that some drivers have used modded cars (with altered physics) in jolt. This is possibly the worst form of cheating and needs to be stopped. The Admin team have come to the agreement that bans of up to a year will be imposed on the culprits. This applies in all formulas and in both practise and meetings. Any testing of models with altered physics will be done in Admin sanctioned test meetings. Admin members have the right to test in jolt practise sessions. Ranny
