Great work everyone so far. Everybody check out WIP Bradford. Looks the dogs danglees and it comes as both Tar and Shale. Can't wait for all this stuff. Well done all involved. cheers sparky

Nowt wrong with the render... Good skin and good render. Keep up the good work cheers sparky

Nice skin Tombo. Great to see some neat skins in here. As for the slagging match, I agree 100% with aub and for erik to even think his renders and skins are a shade on him is just dillusional... cheers sparky

It's hard without a good wheel lol. Was my first time driving the cars, managed to do about 2 laps without spinning. Pretty difficult stuff Was good fun though, great mod, cars feel great when just powersliding round bends:P cheers sparky

As far as I am concerned this situation is disgraceful, refusing to pay for the mans operation on the NHS which is what we pay our taxes for is nothing short of an absolute joke. Considering our money goes to paying for foreigners operations and health care when they fall ill in our country. It might just be me but do we not have to pay for health threatment when we go abroad?? cheers sparky ps. Get Well Soon Terry, we'll all be thinking of you.

Make sure you have unplugged you're gamepad etc. It doesn't seem to like stuff like that being in the usb slots. My game crashed when I had my gamepad plugged in but worked fine when I unplugged it. cheers sparky

Duct Tape is what it looks like, I would assume it is to stop you're fingers or arms getting jammes in between the spokes of the steering wheel in a crash as that could be pretty sore lol. cheers sparky

Back in the day? What you mean back in the day lol. I have a 1275 GT Mini just now. Set of revo's to go on it in a few days and get it nicely polished for crimbo:) cheers sparky

Here is a pic of my car, not very good and still has L plates on but I have since passed my test... It has a 1275cc injection engine and I have a set of 7x13 superlites to go on the car. I hope to have it touched up and looking as good as new soon... cheers sparky

Right, I have had a wee read on this thread and you're skin looks pretty good Jamesy.. I'll try and point out what I do to my skins to make them look more realistic etc as it may help you with yours... I tend to avoid bright colours, when choosing a colour I tend to think a bright red is a glossy red and a slightly toned down one is a matt red, same for black, if you move you're pointer up very slightly it becomes a matt black which shows in game alot better than pure jet black. Signs are good, on the aero I would possibly make you're numbers smaller and not have signs overlapping each other which can sometimes spoil a good sign. make sure everything is clear and most importantly simple. The best skins are usually the simplest ones. Good luck and I look forward to seeing you're skins improve over time cheers sparky

It's banger sized. I will try and make the engine physics the same as the saloon, so that it drives like the original ssc but has the size of a banger... cheers sparky

Bunterbuilt is next on my list spikey... The bonnet is proving to be a pest to get mapped right though cheers sparky

It's already 100% finished Samson. I will post some screenshots of it later on when I get home from work. A few people to thank, those are Kevin McQueen for the pictures of the car to use for modelling...Rodder for putting up with all my silly questions and helping me through the modelling stage and also for putting the car in game for me . I had a test session last night with a few of the atr league guys and it was great fun, some proper racing and good nudge and spin stuff. cheers sparky

I own British Racing Green 1995 Rover Mini Mayfair and I have just passed my driving test so I can drive it on my own now cheers sparky

I have been working on this for a while and I feel this is the right time to show you guys what I have done. I started the model a while back and tonight I just finished adding and mapping the final parts. It is too high poly for a banger... It will have no damage because of this and it will hopefully end up being it's own mod It might not be the biggest formula in the UK but I have wanted to race them for a while and now I am getting the chance... I may also edit the model and make it a spedeworth 2ltr saloon but I will consider that after I get this finished. cheers sparky

that's looking crackin. Keep up the good work guys cheers sparky

Happy Birthday Mr McQueen, have a good 'un! cheers sparky

Those wheels just look plain wrong guns lol. Skins a topper though, well done... heres my latest offering, tried to change the white floor to make it a 'cove' as used in photography to get rid of any hard lines etc. cheers sparky
-
Nice skin and render although on the top one you're back wheels are pointing in a funny direction lol. cheers sparky

Nothing wrong with editing a car to make it look more like a real life car or just to add a bit of vaariation or fun. Nobody made a fuss when mark h33 was chpping and changing bits on the briscan / wobbes briscans etc to make his real life renders... Key is to grow up and let live, people render chassis and some renders look damn good, next we'll have people complaining at where people get their wheel textures from cheers sparky
-
Wrighty I started on mg skin for the NI league and I am doing the colours of James Jamieson Jr. I'll showyou what I have done so far and would be happy to send you the bits I have done so far if it would help you. cheers sparky

Try PM'ing Andymek, I'm sure he'll be able to point you in the right direction. cheers sparky
