Hi Could anyone offer any advice on setting up a microsoft sidewinder FFB wheel. I raced last night and was all over the place. I am not sure what the deadzone, overshoot and non linear steering should be set at. What is a good setting for the sidewinder central control panal, at the minute I am set to factory default and using any of the preset schemes seems to make it worse. If someone has a saved scheme for heat could you send it so I can work from that. Steve

Hi All Could you post up some info on rfactor ie What exactly is it, where can i get it from, is it free or do you have to buy it? If you have to buy it is it in disk form or a download? I assume that the F1's are an add on to the main game will uk dirt start using rfactor instead of heat in the near future, or is this a long way off and will F2 and bangers go that way. Cheers Steve

Hi Wrighty Sadly I dont have anythging to do with JT just a truck and stock car fan. He normaly shows at the truck fest at Barnard Castle which I assume you refer to as Whitton Park. He also shows traction engines at steam rallies.

You need to install nascar heat essentials and 1.72e patch found on ukdirt website. Then all the mods and skin packs for the formulas you want to race

You cant just rename it, it is still a tex file and wont show up in paintshop or photoshop.

Is it possible to change from a tex file back to tga for editing in photoshop. I have not got the original photoshop or tga file and I was wondering how Iwould go about changing the roof colour if I get regraded. Cheers. Steve.

hi Kruiz Before I joined uk dirt I had problems with 2yr old voyager 105, kept losing connection in counter strike. Replaced it with a Belkin wireless set up. No more lost connection and my sync speed went up from 1500 to 6500. Only thing I have to do now before going online in uk dirt is disable wireless connection and plug in network cable. Just had a look at your windows firewall post the screen shows mcafee firewall running not windows firewall. All works fine. Steve

Like a few posts up says, I had warp on a practice session. For meeting I disconnected wireless and put a cable in problem solved . After meeting reconnected wireless. It does seem strange that this game has been around for a while so I hear, and used to work on 56k dial up, but 8meg wirless and you get warp
